Answer:	I know this is an old question. But just in case anyone else wants to know, yes it is adjustable. When you lift the top back, like you would do to remove or insert the bowl, there is a flat head screw that is visible. If you want the mixer to reach lower into the bowl you turn the screw clockwise (to the right) if you want to lift it turn it counterclockwise (to the left). I would move the screw 1/4 or 1/2 the way around the circle at a time so that you can test it out to make sure you don't move it down too low. If you do just turn the screw back a little and it'll move it back up so you can get it in the right position.

Depending on your needs these three differences may or may not lead you to the fourth difference which is price.If your not into large scale baking as you stated, I would recommend the KSM155GBCA. You can also get a stainless bowl for the KSM155 and keep the glass bowl, you don't have that option with the KP26. If your not doing large scale baking as you say, your choosing a less expensive mixer with plenty of power that looks great vs a more expensive mixer with power you will probably never fully need or use.

Answer:	Mine did, I can't attest that every seller of a refurbished kitchen aid mixer will include them, but mine certainly did. My purchase was a replacement for one my mom had given me (which is 42 years old and on which my brother had replaced the power cord and had become on/off with no speed control...it flung ingredients everywhere even if you put a towel over it.) So hubby got me a refurbished one to replace the hand-me-down one, for my birthday. It came with everything I would expect a brand new one purchased at a store would. Question:	how long is the warranty
Answer:	The KitchenAid KSM8990 SpecSheet states "COMMERCIAL-GRADE ACCESSORIES COME STANDARD." Then it lists "Stainless Steel Spiral Dough Hook, Stainless Steel Flat Beater, Stainless Steel Elliptical 11-Wire Whip, 8-Qt Brushed Stainless Steel Bowl with “J” Style Handle."
Question:	What is the weight for the kitchenaid standmixer
Answer:	I have bought 3 of these in the past 4 years and 2 have already broken. I am mixing cake batter and buttercream with it, not dough, and it does have breaks between use. The handle on the bowl is only attached at one point, not two points on the bowl like the home models. I have had problems with the handles breaking off because you of course have more weight in a bowl that will hold 8 quarts vs. 5 quarts. Personally I am disappointed with the commercial mixer! I have a Kitchenaid 5 quart that is around 20 years old that still works great, but have had no luck with the commercial series.
Question:	Am I correct in assuming it comes with a bowl
Answer:	I'm a chef that has been using the kitchen aid commercial series at work for many years now. The commercial kitchen aid has better horsepower than the proline series. So your awnser really depends on what you need the mixer for. If you are using it at home every now and then the proline works just fine. If you plan to use it a lot, like powering through cold butter to whip it, or large batches of doughs, whipped cream in under 30 seconds the commercial is the way to go. Personally I try to buy all commercial grade items for my home as well, they tend to cost more but the hold up better and longer, and always have more power. Hope this helps.

Answer:	2 quart less than 10 quart, depending on your needs when using. Bumping up to 10 quarts probably means a commercial mixer obviously. Value wise, I think the 8 quart is a steal.

Question:	Will this fit on a KSM
Answer:	Mine did, the mixer was spotless and looked brand new. Perfectly packed, new instruction book etc. The box looked brand new but was clearly marked as a refurb. The only diff was that the warranty was only 6 months. Not an issue for me. Definitely worth the couple hundred dollars I saved!!! It’s been a real workhorse for the very stiff dough I make for my dog biscuits!

Answer:	Yes; pI ordered as a replacement to use on my daughter’s KSM450 and have been using it it with out any issues daily for two weeks.
Question:	The color in the picture is passion red but the description says empire red. Which color is it
Answer:	According to their product info page it’s a 6 month warranty. I purchased one a while back and LOVE it! It came with all 3 blade/mixer attachments, instructions and recipe book (new), and bowl. Very well packed in a seemingly new box with new packing. In fact the only way I could tell it wasn’t brand new was the fact that the box said “renewed” on it. Not a scratch on the mixer or the bowl. I use mine mostly for making dog biscuits, and it does not get bogged down even with the stiffest of doughs.
