Answer:	I don't see a significant difference. The TL86597 has a indicator on the front to let you the status. One not the TL86597 does state do not use with surge protector. The surge protector interferes with the signal. So if you use power strips and have issues you may want to remove them.

Answer:	No. The unit works on 110 vac, using radio frequency to transmit/receive on the house wiring. The unit consumes very little power.

Answer:	I believe Mr. Spiegel's answer of Oct. 19, 2014 is correct. This device lets you make a wall jack for an ethernet line (RJ-45) and a POTS (plain old telephone service). But on the back side, you still have to connect the traditional four wires of POTS, and the six or eight wires of an ethernet line to the appliance. someplace along your single line, you are going to have to split them up.

Answer:	To get digital channels (which are about all you can get nowadays), you will need a digital converter box with your old tv. You plug this into the digital converter box, and the converter box into your tv. If by some chance a station is broadcasting in analog near your house, you could get those stations in without a converter box. Currently, there are no analog stations where I live as it is costly for a station to broadcast both analog and digital.

Answer:	The juicer is very high powered. The juicer needs to be cleaned after the pitcher provided is full. I juice celery bunches with great success.
