Answer:	You can call the company - an actual (nice) human answers the phone! - and they'll send you a replacement. I've had this product for years and that piece went missing or broke years ago and I use it without it. Sometimes it's annoying because the filter slips out, but you can lodge the filter into place and most of the time it stays put.
Question:	How do you clean
Answer:	I've had my EcoCrock since May 2013. The insert and exterior still look like new. I detect no odor or discoloration. We put a folded paper towel on the bottom of the insert to make sure all the contents come out easily. Very happy with this so far.
Question:	Can I use a beer batter or cook anything that's been dipped in a wet batter
Answer:	we purchased this in August of 2020. I place half a paper towel in the bottom when empty and I've never changed or bought new filters. I rinse the filter off if it has any mildew on it and hang it to dry from a magnetic clip on my fridge, have never had maggots, and have had it filled to the brim with compostable stuff. The charcoal will sprinkle out of the filter when you rinse it, but that's not a big deal. We have compost picked up once a week from a Nashville company so we deposit our great little bin into a bigger bin we keep near our kitchen trash can. That gets stinky so we've got a system down for expediency with opening that baby up. This is a great container. Attractive, easy to use and clean if you use it regularly like we do.

Question:	Has anyone had problems witj the wire shelves not holding securely? Mine will fall down if any movement happens
Answer:	I found a solution for the wire rack issue. At the locations where the wire shelf sits on support ledge, bend up the shelf a bit where the vertical and horizontal transition occurs (the edge of the trayed area). This will push the sides and back out a bit making the shelf a little wider and more rigid.

Answer:	As soon as you start the video, however, the title underneath says 11.6. Do the math. Internal dimensions are 10.5"(L) x 9.5"(W) x 7.25"(H). This equals 723 cubic inches. Use google convert. Answer:	It would be good for the manufaturer to chime in and clarify things. However, if you look carefully at the specs and crank the numbers for the internal dimensions 10.5 x 9.5 x 7.25 ~=~ 723.19 cu in / 61.024 liters per cu in >~=~> 11.8 liters, and a liter is larger than a quart, so the stated 11.6 quart is in the ball park. I think the 6 quart capacity they talk about in the video may be that of the rotisserie basket ( as stated in the specs) ( or, as stated in one of the other answers, for a smaller capacity model )

Answer:	You can cook quite a bit. If you are concerned they make a XL version that is a little larger. In this particular 2.75 qt size I can get 4-6 large chicken tenders, 5-7 pieces of fresh fish with Cajun seasonings, enough tater tots for 3-4 people. The food cooks so fast that you can cook for your entire family in 1/2 the time. We use this almost daily. I highly recommend!!

Question:	How long have you had this air fryer and does the non-stick coating flake off after time
Answer:	I have only used it a few times. The basket tray doesn't have a coating on it. I spray it with cooking spray to keep things from sticking. The sides and drip area may be coated with a non-stick coating. They clean up easily. I wouldn't recommend using metal on them.

Answer:	If it is hard to separate the basket from the Air Fryer, you may have hold the handle with 4 fingers and pull the basket while pushing the fryer main body with your thumb. It can be separated with one hand. The bottom mesh of the basket can be removed by pushing it up. Hope this helps.

Answer:	yes you can bake but you need to purchase the accessories on line. Since the unit is square instead of round I would recommend finding accessories that will fit into a square unit. but you can measure the inside and some of the round pans will still fit into the square unit. My unit is approx. 8 1/4 x 7 1/2 inches at the bottom of the basket and 9x9 inches at the top of the basket. so look for accessories that will fit those measurements

Except that I'm particularly worried about fat (My father is suffering from hypercholesterolemia)— I also hate the idea of using a vat of fat and then disposing it. Yes, you can use it a few times before you get rid of it, but still, it seems like a bit of a waste. The KOIOS 39006 Air Fryer has a basket that food goes into, like a deep fryer, but that's where the similarities end. Answer:	Yes, but the end of the metal handle on the interior plastic bin may put a hole in the bio-bag. It's easiest if you use a rubber band to hold the bag in place for when you put the interior bin into the ceramic bucket.You will be able to see the bag; the plastic lid fits onto the interior bin, not onto the ceramic exterior. It's not that it doesn't fit, just that you can still see the bag.Update: it looks like there is a difference between the newer and older models. On the older models the lid fits over the ceramic part; on mine (purchased September 2016) the lid fits on the plastic bin. On mine you can't use the lid without the interior plastic bin.

Answer:	You can glue the door back on if they won’t send you another one. You just have to make sure it’s in the right spot. It will not run if not placed back correctly because there are sensors in the handle/door. This happened to mine, I glued it back and works fine now.

Answer:	Yes, there are two layers. There is an insert below the basket that channels grease and drippings into another similar looking 'star' chamber below it. Both are removable as is the entire basket holder. It's sometimes difficult to get theses 'star' plates out. The slits in the top plate are very narrow. I don't think this particular model has an 'earlier' version. It's relatively new - hard to find 8½ inch pans at this point.
