A number eight disher equals 4 liquid ounces, a number 16 equals 2 liquid ounces, a number 10 equals 3.2 liquid ounces, a number 30 equals 1.07 liquid ounces, etc. That's pretty darned close to their stated 1 ounce. It is a volume measurement, not weight.

Answer:	I don't know which disher this is since I bought two at the same time. The four-once dishes should make a 4-once burger. The two-ounce dishes will make meatballs about one-inch in diameter. These are main course size. For meatball sandwiches, cut them in half. Also, the 4-ounce makes one nice scoop of ice cream and the two-ounce is great for smaller balls like for banana splits or ice cream sodas.

If you are talking the huge silicone muffin cups, then I would have to use about 1/3rd more scoop with the size 12.
