Question:	This item says "6 levels of precise temperature control". Does this mean only 6 different levels of heat or are they indicators and it's more precise
Answer:	I have used these controls in between the numbers, such as 4, 4-1/4, 4-3/4. I do believe that the heat is gauged by the increments that are set not just by numbers but in between the numbers. I love these Sunavo burners even more than my electric stove. You can cook at much lower temperatures and much more precisely. Best wishes to you.
Question:	Can auto-protection be turned off

The hot plate will auto turn off (light off) when the temperature rises too high, and auto turns on (light on) when it returns to normal. It can not be turned off. Question:	Why doesnt it boil water
Answer:	It boils water fine. All you have to do is turn the knob up all the way and wait. It will turn itself off when it reaches a certain temp, but the light will come on again. Remember it's a hotplate not a stove and have some patience. I find that it works perfect, I boil water all the time. Even when using both burners at once. I especially like the back knob that you can set to either on or off. That way if someone tries to turn it on accidentally it won't turn on. Nice safety feature.

Answer:	Each one is almost 7.5 inches in diameter. You are not suppose to use a pot or pan that is larger then the burner, however I do and have not had a problem.
