Answer:	I haven't tried steaming vegetables in here but probably not, you can cook boneless chicken thighs though!

Answer:	The dishwasher safe description is misleading. The only dishwasher safe piece is the plastic drip tray. Under "Cleaning and Maintenance", the manual has in all caps: "DO NOT CLEAN PARTS USING A DISHWASHER". The grill plate should not be immersed in water at all, but it cleans very, very easily.

Answer:	🤣 prop 65 is a warning to exposures of chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Question:	When cleaning i kno you can not imerse in water but can the underneath of cook top get wet?? Silver part under..if wet is it ok
Answer:	Yes, but do not submerge. The easiest way to clean this appliance is to set on low heat after use. Put folded wetted paper towels on grill surface. Leave only a short time until a bit steamy. Take a dry paper towel and remove the wet ones and wipe the surface. Remove remaining residue with a mixture of baking soda, lemon juice and a few drops of dishwashing liquid. Then rinse, but be carful not to get water on the plug.

Answer:	yes it's non stick. I use it all the time and there is no stick for me.
Question:	Will my steak taste like a steak on a grill or like a steak on a George Foreman grill which no offense is pretty gross and steam instead of grilling
Answer:	Definitely a good question. I had the same question and issue with the GF grill. I bought this HB Grill and it is great. Great searing and cooks like an outdoor regular grill. Marinate or season your steak however you like it and it will come out perfect. Of course, you won’t have the charcoal flavor if that is what you use for your outdoor grill, but the other flavor, texture and searing will be there. (I personally think it comes out juicier on this grill than the regular outdoor grills). I also found that this HB grill made it easier to get the cooking level you want; for steak; I.e. Medium, Medium Well, Well Done etc.
Question:	the removable grill plate has plug in attached. Is it ok to get that wet when cleaning
Answer:	Yes the booklet says it can be washed, the only thing you can't wash is the base it plugs into. However I don't put mine in the dishwasher and when I wash it I don't let it sit in water. Like my old George Foreman I find its easier to clean if I put wet paper towels on the grills surface while its still hot and shut the lid, this steams off a lot of the baked on marinade I use...

Answer:	I don’t think so. There is no compartment for it - and the area in the bottom is directly next to the element. That said. The more you use it the more it is seasoned and the better things taste

Answer:	The ease of cleaning the grill (the part that the food rests on) is possibly the best part about this grill. It's easy and the metal cleans nicely. The shortcomings of the grill are that the drip tray doesn't catch all the drippings so I have resorted to putting a pan under the grill but I still get grease splatter all over the tile floor of my balcony. Also, the temperature controller cycles on and off so cooking time is uneven and unpredictable and it never gets hot enough to sear anything. I'm waiting for it to die and then replace it. I have read some reviews that rate the Weber electric grill highly so hopefully that's a better choice.

Question:	Is it big enough for a rack of ribs
Answer:	There is plenty of room for a "rack of ribs" but not ribs on a rack. I didn't realize this before I bought mine but still love it -- with an electric grill the heat does not circulate throughout, like it does on a charcoal or gas grill, and therefore the ribs wouldn't cook well. It is made for steaks, chicken, hamburgers, fish, etc. and not large items like whole chickens, roast, etc.

The non-stick grilling surface wipes clean easily but the grilling plate does not come off.The entire grill has to be taken to the sink, or washed with a hose outside. It's not heavy, but awkward over my sink.The grease tray pulls out and can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. Answer:	I don't know what Teresa is talking about. First, you can find the wattage of the heating element in the specs. Second, the heating service on ours is extremely even. If hers does not heat evenly, then there is a problem with it. I would definitely recommend this product.

Answer:	I am really not sure but I used more 3 times. I only cleaned it with soft sponge and when it's still hot . The grill still looks as new not like others I bought got scratched after first used . The most of all this product is very easy to clean .

Answer:	this pan has hole for drain oil, so you need to put some bowl or tray underside to hold dripping oil, you can use gas stove but make sure there is space for the dripping tray...

Answer:	I do not recommend it to be used on gas stove because of the way drain hall is designed will not fit with regular gas stove. It would work best with portable gas stove and heat resistant drain bowl. :)

Answer:	Have only used it once & didn't notice. I put a metal cookie sheet under it to be on the safe side. Personally, I don't think I would put it directly on a wooden deck.

Answer:	I called Lodge Customer Service and the guy was super nice and said he gets this question a lot. You have to use a flathead and a pair of pliers. It was very hard for me to screw it (I am giving this as a gift and wanted it assembled) tight enough using the tools but finally got it and it should NOT be loose at all. The screw is a 3/4 inch flathead screw.

Answer:	The underside of this is flat, not grooved like a panini press. I use it for toasted cheese and other toasted sandwiches, and like it a lot. Just wipe off the bottom...easy to clean.
