Answer:	The strings literally string through the instrument, because You put the strings through the body from the back. The string through design makes it very easy to restring the instrument. Manny electric guitars are set up this way.

Question:	How is it a "neck-thru" with a soundhole like that? Where's the rest of the neck
Answer:	It just means that it’s not a bolt on neck.
Question:	What is the scake length of this instrument
Answer:	Merlin M4 nut to bridge on mine is 21 inches. 7 frets full octave with no blues fret. I put in a temporary blues fret at 5-1/2 with a cutdown paper clip and some bandage tape. Got to look out for string height at that position though so you don't mess up the whole note that lives at that spot.
Question:	What is the difference between the SG and the M4 models
Answer:	Sg is spruce and M4 is mahogany.
Question:	How do you know if your Merlin is DAD or G tuning? i bought mine just about the time when Seagull changed it
Answer:	The Merlin will have heavier (wound) strings - at least three. This is because the G tuning is lower. If your strings are more like those on a guitar, and your bass string is the only wound string, you have a dadd-type Merlin. Also, I believe that only the mahogany ones are G; I haven't seen on that was spruce.

Each string comes individually wrapped in a separate paper envelope to keep them separate and make it easier to identify which strings go where.

When replacing strings, be sure to replace one or two at a time, and avoid taking all of the strings off at once. Be sure to change your strings regularly to keep the instrument sounding bright and clear.

These are ball-end strings (like guitar strings). Standard Merlin tuning is DADD. This set of strings is for the DAD model, not the G model. These strings will not work on the G model Seagull Merlin. These are not the same type of strings that a pickin' stick or Strumstick variety stick dulcimer uses. Be sure you're purchasing the right item!

Answer:	I don't have it here with me, but as I recall, it has a headphone jack and built in speakers.

Answer:	I believe the cabling to computer and iPad are only for recording. We are using the piano without any computer connectivity without any issue. It does not require such a connection to provide basic piano functionality.

This is a one-string acoustic canjo, offered under the American Canjo Company(tm) brand by C. B. Gitty. These instruments are hand-made in the C. B. Gitty workshops in New Hampshire, USA. They are fun and easy to play, well-made and look great - all at a great price.

This instrument is fretted diatonically, which means that all of the "in between" notes are left out - so it is almost impossible to hit a "wrong" note on it. It puts out a great twangy sound, perfect for practicing or back porch pickin'.

These canjos are strung with an unwound plain steel string of .012" or .013" gauge. The special metal cans are labeled with a custom-designed automotive-grade vinyl American Canjo Company label. The frets used on the neck are nickel-silver "Medium" frets.
