Answer:	Amazon did not post my review from two days ago and removed a similar comment yesterday. No communication to me so far. Mine broke (pins came off) Called the manufacturer and they informed me that there are very good looking fake presses sold on Amazon by vendors. I purchased mine May 2016 (Sold by DUNG PHAMSDDA and Fulfilled by Amazon.) Kuhn Rikon will honor the warranty which is very impressive to me. I paid half of retail not to Kuhn Rikon and yet they are replacing it so kudos to the company.Kuhn Rikon point out that unless sold directly by Amazon it may not be a real one. I thought Amazon fulfillment meant some level of trust. Wish Amazon focused on quality in their vendors. You can see that many of the 1 star reviews have the same issue. The brand name is etched and a patent number is on the product so counterfeits are getting better. As long as you have a USB C port (it's the one that looks like a tail in the photos) it connects well with everything else you need. I just swish the razor in the rubbing alcohol, and that instantly evaporates when you’re done. So the blade never has a chance to rust.” I don't see why this won't work for this peeler too.

Answer:	The body is made of plastic wheras the epicurean us all stainelss. It works exactly as it designed to. Cheaper models rust when washed, this one is dishwasher safe. I have both because I was afraid the red would fail but, so far, no issues. The epicurean is still in the box.

Answer:	When ours wore out, we followed the advice of other reviewers and used a toothbrush. If you just poke the bristles into the holes it works as good as or better than the original tool.

Answer:	Can’t give up and exact answer but it does work the peel is on the bottom and the garlic is minced. It is a very good press. What a timesaver it has been.

Answer:	It will press ginger and turmeric but not as well as grating it. I had hoped it would save me the trouble but it didn't work for me. By pressing the ginger and turmeric, all you get it liquid. Hope this helped. A great press for garlic!

Question:	Does it chop garlic well
Answer:	It's not that good for garlic, the garlic cloves tend to sit at the bottom and you wont get an even chop; however, it does work great with onions, tomatoes, herbs, and for making guacamole. I recently ordered my second chopper, I made the mistake of letting water go to the inside of the lid on the first one and the pulling cord got rotten and broke. I will make sure of taking better care of the second one.

Answer:	There are two blades...one at the bottom and one closer to the top....there is also a plastic bar which is probably for grabbing and removing the blades for cleaning...it is not a blade.

Answer:	The only actual hole in the lid is where the rope attaches to the handle on the side, the bottom can be wiped and rinsed clean without getting water inside the lid. Now I wouldn't submerse the entire lid under water but it can be simply and carefully cleaned. Above the metal blades on the center piece there is a plastic blade that spins to keep food bits from building up too much on the lid.
Question:	What's the diff. between this and the "chop chop
Answer:	The “chop-chop” is slightly larger 3 cups vs 2 cups for the “pull-chop”. The “chop-chop” also comes with a separate arm to help with chopping small amounts of herbs and garlic, basically it scrapes the bottom to lift the food into the path of the blades. There are a few esthetic differences as well. It looks like the “chop-chop” is a newer design and its currently $2 cheaper.
