Answer:	I have the exact same one, and no, it isn't very loud. I operate a corporate kitchen, we make a fair amount of noise normally, but this unit isn't disruptive at all. Maybe you have defective gears in yours? Ours works great, been going strong for about 4 months.

Answer:	You are looking at the wrong product. I would recommend a clothes dryer, or a clothesline. The gears are plastic, and probably wouldn't take that kind of abuse for long. Plus, it would take an incredibly long time to get clothes dried in one of these. The amount of time and effort involved in attempting to use a salad spinner to dry your clothes, would definitley justify one of the other options I suggested.

Answer:	Yes, odors linger in the shaker even after washing, but I've never noticed that they permeate the next dressing mixed in it. I love my shaker! In fact, I like it so well that I've given two of them to friends. Super for shaking, storing and serving. Good luck in your decision.

Answer:	If filled to the top, it will hold one cup. If you do this, there is no shake-up room. The last measurement on the cup is 3/4 cup which is still quite a bit. I only mix a half cup at a time, and that's plenty! I'm happy I have this mixer.

Answer:	I'm at work and it's at home, so this is a rough estimate. It has about a 12 inch diameter and stands about 8 inches tall. I live alone, but it is probably big enough for 2-3 servings.
Question:	What are the measurements (H+W+D) of the small size and the large size OXO Good grips Spinner. I need to determine where to store it
Answer:	I would think that you could use it with other vegetables, but you may not get the desired results. This spinner consists of 2 pieces, the inside bowl is what actually spins and propels the water to the outside bowl. I believe water would spin away from the carrots and mushrooms, but I'm not sure just how dry they will be. I've only tried lettuce in the spinner...and it works great! Hope this helps!

Answer:	No, it won't clean tiny potatoes. The only thing that it will do is get all the water off them after you wash each one. I bought mine for drying Kale to make chips. I have used it for Kale, Strawberries, Blueberries, Sweet potatoes, grapes and of course lettuce.
