Answer:	Hi Customer, When it is tared. The tared weight is 0.1g when it is between 0.3~500g. And so on 0.5g (501~1000g), and 1.0g (1001~3000g). Thanks.

Answer:	No. Although the timer will keep the scale on for a full 5 min. Any change in the weight will reset the auto shutdown time.

Answer:	Yep, that's what I do. Also fwiw I'm extremely happy with this scale for coffee, so far it has been as reliable and accurate as my friend's acaia. Side by side the kitchentour is within 0.1g of the acaia and measures my macchiato cups dead on the same weight every time, even between power cycles.

Question:	Does the scale switch from ounces to pounds automatically (ie will it read 16oz and up or will it begin to measure 1.0lb
Answer:	I'm not sure what you mean by "automatically" but there is a button labeled "Mode" that cycles through the various units of measure. Your last selection is remembered after the scale is turned off. The display modes are (using 500 grams as example): Unit: Display Shows Grams: 500 g Kilograms: 0.500 kg Ounces: 17.64 oz Pounds: 1.102 lb Pounds ounces: 1. 1.64 lb.oz
Question:	What is the voltage and minimum current requirement for the scale
Answer:	As you probably know, this scale runs on three AA batteries. The power adapter (search Amazon.com for: "AC Adapter For My Weigh 7000g and 300g Scales") has a non-polarized standard two prong American plug. This adapter will run on 100VAC-240VAC 50/60Hz and draws 0.3A. The adapter output is 5VDC at 300MA. Note: Although this adapter is made for American receptacles, it could of course be fitted with an adapter for another other country as long as the input is adhered to. Hope this helps!
Question:	Does this scale "time out" and turn itself off? If so, how long does it take for it to time out
Answer:	Oddly the instructions to program the scale auto shut off time is not in the manual that came with the scale. But I found a manual online which has the instructions to change this setting. Here's a slightly edited typed excerpt from the manual I found online.Weight Response Speed And Auto Turn-OffPress and hold the HOLD & POWER button. Wait for the 5 second countdown to complete. You will begin in Weight Respone Speed settings. Press MODE to cycle between the following options, nb0 (longest) nb1 (intermediate) nb2 (fastest). Press TARE to select an option. I left mine at the default nb0 as I want accurate readings. Once we've selected the Weight Response Speed we are put in the Auto Turn-Off settings. The default is OFF 1 (2 minutes), OFF 2 (5 minutes), OFF 0 (Disabled as in the scale will stay on forever or till the batteries die or AC adapter is unplugged, or if you're nice, you turn off the power).Hope that helps some people =)

Answer:	You can press PCS then M and see if that works.

Answer:	No, it doesn't measure pounds. It's probably too small to have that capability anyway. Small being a convenient size to measure grams or ounces, or pieces and then the weight of those pieces. I actually find this scale quite convenient for even office use to see how much an envelope weighs!
Question:	How do you use this scale for postage? That's why I bought it
Answer:	Just set the envelope of box in scale. It won’t work for big boxes.
