Answer:	The one I received was 5” x 2 1/2”. It was what I expected. To be honest, a peeler 10 x 4 would be unwieldy. I have bought these for my daughter & granddaughter. They love it.

Answer:	I have used this on pumpkins, winter squashes, you name it I probably peeled it. With larger pumpkins it takes a while and you aren't going to do it in long strips. It's sort of in pieces and the groves areas it's hard to get the skin off without taking large chunks. This does work better than the side peelers.

Answer:	Both blades are sharp. I don't think I've tried peeling by pushing the peeler away from me rather than drawing it toward me, but it should work.

Answer:	I don't believe the blade can be set t peel something that thick. You set the potato into the frame and the blade glides along and scrapes the peel off.

Answer:	It can take a 5" carrot but it doesn't peel well due to the skin texture. Also, the device can't hold the carrot in the right position because its narrow shape.

Answer:	It would be better to use raw. It would peel it however it will probably miss patches since beets are unevenly shaped

Answer:	Yes you can peel apples with it. I used it all the time for potatoes, apples and cucumbers. Unfortunately the motor gave up the ghost after about 5 months. I wasn't happy about that.

Mango pits are not all the same size, but this pit remover looks like it might waste a lot of the smaller mangoes, leaving the pits with much of the fruit stuck to it. Maybe this company should make a "small" size for the Honey Mangoes, or design it with an adjustable size pit remover.
Question:	is this BPA free
Answer:	I think it is ---yet honestly not certain. Best to ask Sur Le Table as they know their products well and I don't think they'd carry poisoned plastic products. From a family who enjoys mangoes almost daily, I do know, however, that this Zyliss Mango tool works beautifully.
