Our horizontal masticating juicers excel at celery. They will all process celery about the same. The celery attachment for the MM900HDS makes it a better unit than the J8006, J8007, and J8008 it is modeled after. The NC Series is a more elite series than the J8006, J8007, J8008, and MM900. The biggest difference is when comparing the MM900HDS to any of our J8006, J8007, or J8008 Models. The MM900HDS has a new "celery attachment" that helps the unit extract just a bit more juice out of celery and other firm items. The J800x series still do a very good job. The J800x series are all Nutrition Centers. Meaning, they have parts that allow them to make nutter butters, frozen desserts, etc. The MM900HDS is for juice only. These parts are not included. The following NC Series all share most of the same common parts. So, the juicing ability of each is exactly the same. The main difference is the motor housing material and/or finish. The juicing screen, auger, drum, etc is the same on these models. NC800HDR is red (with handle) NC800HDS is silver (with handle) NC900HDC is chrome (with handle) NC900HDSS is Stainless Steel (no handle) The following is a newer generation, so it does not share parts with the above models. Answer:	It is 18 inches plus the feeder pusher - if you have it inside for storage is an extra inch. The wide mouth also has a pop up lid for when you use it so you need more working space. The top part can be removed for storage making it shorter. the base is 12 inches. Hope this helps

Precautions

1. After use, please disassemble the parts of the juicer, wash it, dry the water to keep the machine dry, and then assemble it.
2. Do not put too many materials into the juicer at one time. When squeeze hard fruits (such as apples), please firstly cut it into 2cm wide pieces, and then put them in pieces. Do not push the materials by hand to avoid hurting your finger, you can press down with the feeding rod.
3. At the beginning of juice extraction, because there is no slag plugging in the slag outlet, a little juice may drip from the slag outlet. When the handle is rotated several times, there is slag out.
4. If the slag outlet is blocked during the juice extraction process, reverse the handle two times first, clear the jam, and then squeeze.If the reverse does not solve the problem, please unscrew the back cover and disassemble the machine to clear the jam.
5. When the materials you gonna to juice have a narrow and hard skin, you should peel it first, and cut it into small pieces when squeezing.
