Answer:	Depending on what fluid you're looking to put in here and what your father does, yes it's a great container. I use it for ice water and like most of these stainless steel tumblers it will keep your icewater cold for 24+ hours. If your father likes to drink cold drinks at the coldest temperature without diluting the flavor (by adding ice) this also will work pretty well. It'll keep your beverage really cold for at least 2 hours without needing ice (as long as you put a cold beverage in there to begin with, this thing isn't a magical cup). The container will even keep drinks cold when the sun is beading down on it... but be warned the outside will be toasty.

I just ordered the 3rd one in June 2020 and the seal just fell out yesterday in October 2020. If this one does the same thing, I will not buy another one of these Contigo travel mugs.

Answer:	Depending on the size of your pool I would start at the max setting. Test the chlorine level each day for a week or so and adjust accordingly. I use one an 18x33 oval pool and I have to keep it running on max to keep my chlorine at the correct level. I think my pool is the maximum size for this unit anyway. Hope that helps.

Answer:	The straw attaches to the underside of the lid so you can drink through the top part so you can’t really use it without the straw. So yes the lid closes.
