Answer:	It has midi in and out, and the audio can be sent to a mixer, but your question doesn’t make very much sense. Try rephrasing it if you want a better answer.

Answer:	The Hardware is the latest. There have been no changes in the physical synth. When you get your MicroFreak simply go to their website and check for firmware updates. Answer:	You cannot. You can have a mixer and a synth filter active, but cannot have multiple filters active on one module. You can work around this by recording what you like with one filter to tape, sampling it, and adding another filter on top of that sample. Not the greatest solution but it does work.

Answer:	I'd spend some time watching the videos at the OP-1 website: http://www.teenageengineering.com/products/op-1/videos. They'll give you a good feel for what it's like to use it and what's possible. But I don't think it's hard to start making music at all.

Answer:	Teenage engineering announced in 2018 they were going to stop producing the OP-1, which was priced at $799, which caused prices to go crazy because people still wanted one but they were going to soon be unavailable. After a bit of craziness, Teenage engineering announced that they would re-start production, but it took a bit to get production back up and running and when the OP-1 was relaunched, it was at its higher price point of $1,299. Other than the short time it was out of production, the OP-1 has been in production since 2011. Whether its worth it or not is up to you, but the OP-1 remains extremely popular in 2020.

Answer:	Yes, it'll work with FL Studio. It's a controller. Just enable it in your midi settings in FL and open up Kontakt (which is the Native Instruments GUI with all the Native Instrument sounds) inside of FL Studio and play.

Answer:	This is a keyboard "controller". It does not produce any sounds without external modules. In other words, you need to connect this device, via MIDI, to a device that produces sound, which would then be connected to an amplifier.
Question:	I tried this in a guitar center. the interface felt super slow and unresponsive. is this a problem with the kontrol or is it the computer
Answer:	In my case, it was a question of the interface. Connecting via USB to the computer didn't cut it for *any* keyboard until I connected all audio IO to my UAD Apollo Quad. Years after using a MOTU Timepiece, I experienced terrible latency until I discovered you need an audio interface for samples to trigger in sync. It's true of my Kontrol, Nord, Prophet 6, etc. My only instrument that played in sync without the Apollo Quad was an Elektron Analog Rytm.

Answer:	It's completely stand alone. However there is no sequencer on board. It is not a workstation. great synth though. It does have a fantastic software editor that makes programing it very very easy but you do not have to use the software editor you can totally programme it by hand.
