Answer:	Here is what they claim "Our unique packaging process removes the majority of the residual oxygen through a nitrogen flushing practice. Wise Company Grab and Go Food Kits carry up to shelf life of 25 years, with absolutely no rotation needed."From reading a lot of differant websites the oxygen obsorbers sound like a better process then that stated above. This method reduces the residual oxygen to the point where nothing can live in the bag like bacteria or mold. Some sites claim you need freeze dried to get 20+ years and dried food gets you 10+. The shelf life of both these methods can be reduced by 1/2 depending on if the food is stored in 70+ degrees or greater than 10% humidity.It's also a function of the type of bag it is stored in and if the bag has creases, kinks, or damage since oxygen will always get in at some rate over the years. Glass and cans will not let oxygen in but if your storage temperature fluctuates you could reach dew point in the can which will cause spoilage of the food faster. Not letting your storage touch walls reduces the chance of reaching dew point ( so I have read). The way I interpret all of these factors is that there is no clear cut answer of how food will store for you in your situation. The best sites that are most trusted warn against shelf life claims, describe a science that has a lot of unknown factors and variables (such as the percent of water in the food when packed and how the fat within the food reduces the shelf life) unless in a controlled environment. The worst part of it comes when you eat the food and it contains botulism it can look and smell normal. Botulism is on of the most dangerous toxins. Be as educated as you can be about this as it will most likely get your whole family at once. Don't trust any of what I just wrote and do your own research.

Answer:	The sugars are high 12g per serving. We generally don't like to recommend to diabetics. We are in the process of developing a sugar-free formula. Survival Tabs are produced everyday. I can't make heads or tails out of the bottom half of the package info panel.If this is all you eat for 8 days you probably won't die, but you can survive a week without food.This may prevent some of the worst effects of starvation. About the same as 8 regular vitamins and a $5 energy bar.

Answer:	No this contains 2 servings per day. The servings vary but they are around 250 each. So you're looking at 500 calories per day, not 3000, not 2000, not even 1000. Its not sustainable but 500 per day would get you through an emergency in the short term. A hell lot better than starving to death.I don't know what kind of emergencies you are planning for but in a long term emergency you would need other sources of food and a garden or a source of wild life or something, but this can help transition.

LOOSE LID ≠ FAULTY PRODUCT

I haven't tried it, but I am going to go to a thrift store and look for a baby bottle sanitizer and test and see if that works without warping the bottles.

Question:	Where can I get just the lids? I broke one and I have 4 older bottles with rusted lids
Answer:	No, they do not work well for boiling water. However, I use these pitchers for making ice tea brewed between 165F and 185F and they work great. Even at these lower temperatures, the thermal shock will break them unless you temper them. Just pour a few ounces of your hot liquid into the pitcher and slosh it around for a minute. This will prepare the glass for the hotter temperatures to come. Then slowly pour the rest.
Question:	Is there a proper way to sanitize the bottle and its cap? Safe to place in oven for 10 minutes to sanitize after washing? Ordered for water storage

Answer:	Yes you can make ice tea directly in these jars. Usually put a custom teabag into the jar and then I put my boiling water and let my tea steep. I let it come to room temperature that I sealed them and placed them in my refrigerator. My wife loves different varieties of tea during the week. I also use the half gallon jug for ice tea as well but during the summer I make lemonade. Wonderful jars and jugs that make my life easy and gives me the opportunity to have variety.
Question:	Is this lead and cadmium free
Answer:	Yes, the pour spout with the red tip keeps the air out. There is one tiny pin hole to help with the pouring, but that doesn't affect freshness of the milk. But if you shake the bottle, be sure to put your finger over that pin hole. We learned the hard way. :o)
