Answer: Yes most definitely I’m extremely happy with these pitchers I make sun tea in them If there is no sun then I use hot tap water In fridge they keep tea real cold and if you keep pouring area covered with lid in closed position the tea stays fresh for about 12 days.
Question: hi I ordered this pitcher but didn’t come with the lid. Is it possible it can be mailed to us
Answer: Mine had a lid. I'm not sure why Amazon is sending this question to me to be answered. They should be contacting the manufacturer / whomever to see if the lid can be sent to you. If it was me, I might just send the whole thing back and reorder and hope I get the list.

Answer: Hi Annette, No this is not a hermetic/air tight pitcher if thats what you are asking. No pitcher where you see lid with holes is an airtight pitcher. When we say tight lid, we mean the lid won't fall off when pouring..something common with other such pitchers. With ours, the lid is tight. Let us know if you have any more questions. Question: The Lid does not stay on, is there a trick to it
Answer: Hi, The reason I purchased this pitcher was for its size, shape, glass container and stainless steel lid. I store milk in the pitcher because glass and the SS lid are the most favorable for food storage. The glass keeps the milk much fresher for a longer period of time than the plastic milk cartons. The SS lid is not airtight but keeps the milk temperature cool. Due to the configuration of the lid, pouring milk is a slow process so I just remove the lid and replace it. I handwash the pitcher and lid with hot soapy water and let it air dry. I do not dishwash it. The pitcher has worked for me and am very happy with it. Glass is the best for food storage.
Question: Is there a way to replace the lid (or just the rubber part)? The rubber part breaks. Thanks
