Answer:	I just checked and it is not magnetic so it doesn’t look like it.

Answer:	It's not difficult to cover with foil but it's not going to be perfect. You'd have to try to tear the foil a bit around the handles to cover the pan. I personally don't recommend this roaster pan. The rack doesn't fit snug on the pan and slides around. With a 25 lb turkey sliding around it was just really dangerous. I ended up cooking the turkey without the rack and it was fine. Do note that dark pans cook much faster than aluminum pans too. Hope this helps!

Answer:	Agree with previous answers. There is about 1 inch of space between the bottom of the rack and the pan. I roasted a 23 pound turkey in it for Thanksgiving and had no issues with the drippings touching the bottom of the bird. I think that is what you are asking?

Answer:	The pan itself is 16" long, yes. But with the overhanging handles it is actually 21" long. It is 13" wide and 3 1/2" high/deep. Hope this info helps you.

Question:	How big of a turkey would fit in it
Answer:	I'm pretty sure the rack is also stainless steel. It's substantial and heavy just like the pan. I know it's not aluminum because there's no way it would be as heavy if it were. The pan is amazing. I bought it thinking I'd use it mainly as a casserole/lasagna pan but to be honest I use it at least twice a week with the rack to roast meats. It cleans really easily and I have had no issues with rust on either the pan or the rack. And I haven't used the pan without the rack more than a handful of times. We roast chicken thighs at least twice a week and often also make pork or beef on another night. I'd say we use this pan and rack at least three times a week and as yet have had no issues with rust. I both hand wash and wash in the dishwasher. It's a really good pan

Answer:	The rack is not stainless or chrome. I bought it, I held it in my hand, I cooked with it. There's a big difference between stainless steel, chrome plated and black. The rack I have has some kind of black coating on it that chips off. There are other reviews that have the same problem.

Answer:	Great question...it would be nice if the distributor answered this. Some Chinese plant use chrome that might not be durable or foodsafe.

Answer:	No this roasting rack will not work with an oval 7 qt. Crockpot. It is slightly too long and the corners are not narrow enough to fit either. For my oval crockpot I use an 8 by 6 inch OVAL rack. The beef roast, pork roast or roasting hen can be larger than the rack used as the rack is meant to just keep items out of the liquids. This rack I purchased for my medium sized oval turkey roaster (12 lbs or less) and it works fine for that purpose.
Question:	How do you clean this wonderful pan & rack? After many uses it starts to build up that dark brown, baked on grease that a brillo pad didn't remove
Answer:	The description said it was chrome which means it’s plated and most likely the base material is mild steel. Not stainless but will perform as a cooking rack just fine.

Answer:	We haven't used it much, so I don't know if the coating will wear off. The pan is fairly easy to clean but the rack is more difficult. It takes a fair amount of scrubbing, but does clean with some effort.

Answer:	I know this is late to answer the question but if you still want to know there is this (on Amazon) New Star Foodservice 36657 Commercial Grade Silicone Baking Mat Non Stick Pan Liner, 14-Inch by 20-Inch, 2/3 Size, it's not perfect, but close.
Question:	Does these pans warp at high heat? i.e
Answer:	I've had my pans for about 2 1/2 years. I frequently use these pans in 450 degree ovens and they do not warp. These are not for dishwasher though. Hand wash and immediately dry. I'm on to purchase 2 more 1/2 sheets and a second Big Sheet.

Use and Care for Natural Aluminum

• Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water.

• Dishwasher use is not advised as discoloration will occur due to the cleaning agents used in automatic dishwasher detergent. This discoloration is merely cosmetic and will not affect baking properties or safety of the pan.

• Natural aluminum pans work well with parchment paper, silicone baking mats, and also traditional butter or shortening and flour methods. When roasting savory foods such as vegetables, butter or cooking oil work well.

• Nylon, wood, or silicone utensils are recommended. Metal utensils and scouring pads may scratch natural aluminum pans, but will not affect baking performance

• Aluminum is reactive to acidic ingredients such as vinegar and tomato products. These foods may darken, pit or corrode the pan after prolonged use.

Question:	Does anyone know the limit on the size turkey this pan can hold
Answer:	From handle to handle it's 19 and 1/4 inches across. The inside of the pan is 16 inches across. Maybe the "20.8" is listed to take into consideration ones hands on the handles take up additional oven space.
Question:	Is it safe to use on the stovetop
Answer:	Just to clarify. The Chef's Choice has a disk on the bottom of the pans. You can see the seam of thje disk about 1/2" up from the bottom. This disk is 3 layers: stainless/aluminum/stainless. Problem is it does not conduct heat as evenly and you will notice the sides of, say, a skillet starting to darken as the sides are just stainless steel. Now the MultiClad is more pro in construction. The entire pan is made from a full sheet of stainless/aluminum/stainless, not just a disc on the bottom. This allows much more even and consistent heating. I had started with a mix of Chef's Choice (the less expensive) and the MultiClad (the better of the two). I did notice a difference in both staining and in evenness of cooking. I replaced the two Chef's Choice pieces with MultiClad and never looked back! BUT - ig budget is really a factor the Chef's Choice is among the best of the cheaper models. One tip - do not overheat any stainless on the stovetop. I never go past medium heat and with a little oil food never sticks and a beautiful fond (those brown bits from sauteeing that pack a lot of flavor). Hope this helps although a few years late!
Question:	Why does the title describe this pan as 16 inches when the specs below say it's 20 inches
Answer:	I couldn't say exactly but what I will advise is that you not use it for a turkey, unless your family is very small- OR- get two small turkeys and buy two of these pans. Ideally, these pans are most suitable for small beef/pork roasts and chickens, in addition to casseroles (mac and cheese, lasagna etc.). Hope this helps, Tricia.
