Answer:	No smoke therefore very good option for indoor party with freinds,family. Can be grilled open or close top. Close top is for safety reasons as well.
Question:	How tall is the cooking area when the lid is closed? I guess grilling a whole chicken isn't possible with the lid closed, right
Answer:	No you couldn't fit a whole chicken under the lid. It's tall enough for steaks, chicken breast even sausages. I love mine!

Answer:	The griddle/grill unit lifts off and a full length tray is underneath which also lifts out to clean.
