Question:	can I stack the pots
Answer:	They are very hard to stack because of their lids. The lids do fit nice and tight on each pan BUT when you flip it upside down to have the handle out of the way, for a nice flat surface to stack, the lid slides off causing a tumble. We stack the pots and pans only (no lids) and place the lids on the side. It's not space friendly but they didn't compromise on these for storing ease..... Wish we could of had both
Question:	Why are mine yes-stick and black after the first use? I have been boiling them with dish washer to see if i can remove the stains with no luck at all
Answer:	The blackness is charred glazing from whatever your cooking. To prevent or minimize, heat the pan slowly with low heat and a little oil. For cleaning, Bar Keepers Friend is great. Other things you might have on hand are cream of tartar, and or vinegar. My personal favorite is using wine while the pan is still hot. Wine is an excellent deglazing tool, and depending on what you’re cooking can add flavor, if done while the food is still in the pan. Happy cooking!
Question:	Have any of you considered the multi-ply set from Cooks Standard and Tramontina? If so, what made you choose Cuisinart? I'm having trouble deciding
Answer:	UPDATE: Comparing Cuisinart, Tramontina and Cooks Standard triply clad stainless steel cookware. In checking further professional reviews, I realised that there were a couple of errors in the information in my original review, below. Tramontina is manufactured in both Brazil and China. The triply clad cookware is ALL triply clad stainless. Another model is their gourmet prima, which looks very similar, but has only the triply base. Tramontina tested out positively against both Cuisinart and Cooks Standard in three cases, and both its triply and prima models beat out Cuisinart altogether. Cooks Standard was not a contender in the latter review. The main selling point for Tramontina over Cuisinart and Cooks Standard is quality, design and efficiency. Cuisinart and Cooks Standard both have flared rims, making pouring better. Cooks Standard is thought to lack beauty. However Cuisinart’s handles are poorly designed, stay too hot and have a point which can cut into the hand. Tramontina triply only offers the flared rims on its skillets. Their Prima model offers it throughout. Regardless of that drawback, Tramontina is consitldered a superior product in the three areas tested. In view of these clarifications and additional information, I have since decided to purchase the Tramontina cookware, over the Cuisinart. I do apologize for the original review errors, and hope that this additional information is as helpful to other buyers as it has been for me! baj
Question:	Will it work on induction cooktops
Answer:	Stainless, cast iron and enameled cookware generally ok. Some cladded pans as well. Goodwill got all my old aluminium. Be cautious of sizes of the bottom of the pan. My LG induction top has three sizes and too big or too small just will not turn burner on. Perhaps as it should be, I guess. But check your cooktop's manual for any word on pan sizes.

Answer:	The copper coating has chipped off after four uses but it is stainless underneath and still works fine. It's just not nice to look at. It's pretty frustrating for the price we paid.

Answer:	It is metal (a series of small dots). I have a glass top stove and have not had a problem using this pan.

Answer:	It does have a nonstick ceramic coating. This pan only lasted 2 months and the bottom worpped . Not very good quality. The handle will not stay tight either. It can't handle high heat settings​ at all. I had a whole set of this cookware and have been replacing it a PC at a Time. It's not even a year old yet.

Answer:	No I purchased these at Christmas and used them steadily since and they look great. They have been through the dishwasher multiple times.

Question:	are the lids really manufactured overseas? i thought all-clad was now having all components manufactured in the US
Answer:	I got referred this because I have the Cuisinart GG-12 set, which is the ceramic coated non-stick version. The ceramic coating does not permit odors to develop as it is impervious.For the teflon/polymer coatings you could try wiping the surfaces down with hydrogen peroxide. If there is decaying food stuck in the surface coating the peroxide will oxidize and destroy the foreign material. If the odor is due to over heating - and usually you can tell because the surface becomes powdery, you are out of luck - all you can do is toss the pan because if you continue to cook with it you will be eating the coating.If you are considering a new set, I cannot rate the ceramic coated pots high enough. My daughter forgot to soak the pot she made mac & cheese in, and I found it the next morning after it had dried. When I pulled out the wooden spoon that had dried in the sauce, the entire coating on the pot came off in one piece. Clean-up turned out to be wiping it down with a soapy sponge and rinsing.

Answer:	Yes, the coating is a ceramic and is free of heavy metals such as cadmium.I've had my set for a year now and except for the nuisance of not being dishwasher safe, they are quite nice. Dried Mac & Cheese wipes right off.If you need a set that is dishwasher safe, I recommend the Henkle Zwilling Spirit cookware. I have the 10 piece set, plus a couple of extra skillets and pots. It is dishwasher safe.

Answer:	Yes, this product is Teflon free, I checked when I bought it as a gift. The way to can tell is that is says that it is "PTFE/PFOA-free" and, according to Wikipedia: "Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene that has numerous applications. The best known brand name of PTFE is Teflon by DuPont Co." Hope this helps.
Question:	Is this 18/10 stainless, 304 surgical stainless, or 316 surgical stainless
Answer:	We bought the Cuisinart 10" saute pan 8 or 10 months ago, but I do think I read from the info that came with the pan that they claimed the coating was lead and cadmium free. Really like this pan -- it is "non-stick" if you season it and treat it right.

Answer:	I do believe that the non bonded parts of All-Clad are made in China. Not 100% certain, since I bought my cookware over 5 years ago, but that is what I hear now.

Answer:	the consensus answer I have found online is that copper core is NOT worth paying extra for. the all clad line with best temperature performance is actually the MC2, but the regular, 3 layer sandwich of SS around aluminum is the all-around winner because it is versatile (i.e. induction capable) and dishwasher safe, unlike MC2. started searching because I was contemplating purchase of a calphalon accucore set that was "deal of the day". learned the most at centurylife.org in an article about "is all-clad worth it". the answer was yes for the d3 all-clad but not for copper core.

Answer:	In all of my research before purchasing my All-Clad I have not come across the use of 304 or 316 surgical stainless, only 18/10. The Tri-ply cookware line that I have purchased (from Amazon and elsewhere) features a 3-ply design, 18/10 steel cooking surfaces, aluminum cores for the even heating, and the highly polished exterior 18/0 stainless for lasting beauty and induction compatibility. Answer:	Oven safe up to 350 degrees. So only at lower temp. The handles will probably melt if you use it at 400 degrees or broil.
Question:	Just bought these have not used yet does the color really come off onto the stove
Answer:	No! These pans have an abrasive coating on the bottom of the pans which will instantly mar your nice glass/ceramic stove top with fine scratches. Yes, they will "work" on your stove, but over time, you will begin to see the scratches building up and may wonder where the scratches came from. I tested one pan on my ceramic top (after I opened the package and noticed the sandpaper like design on the bottom) and I now have a ring of fine scratches on my stove. I promptly repackaged the set and sent it back. Very disappointing and concerning.

Answer:	NO, they do NOT. Don't listen to clowns making snarky statements. Both lids SINK into each of the fry pans, they do not sit ON TOP Of any frypan! There are NO LIDS for these fry pans in this set and I just ordered it, August 2020. Additionally, the lids slide around and don't sit well even in the pots! this causes excess steam to come out the side instead of the little hole. I feel completely ripped off by this inferior set made who knows where that maybe at one time was more quality, but I am sorry I even purchased this. It's now 27% less $ just a few weeks after I bought it, so maybe they know something isn't right too, but it's too late for me, I got gypped.

Answer:	I’ve had my set for 4 years now. The non-stick is ABSOLUTELY the best I’ve ever had! Still has not worn off, cracked, chipped, etc. The color is still in tacked has not chipped, cracked or worn from scrubbing. In fact a cashier in the “Kitchen” store said they quit selling “Rachel Ray” - she thought they were awful. My husband stepped back, he knew what was coming - I let her have an ear full! Over the years I have had nothing but named brand kitchen cookware- none have lasted or have held up as long or has been as durable and still look new as the “Rachel Ray” set I have. In fact, I have her kitchen set & a 32 pc setting in orange will be handing down to my daughter-in-law, I’m getting all new set in the agave blue. Answer:	I have a set of Revere Ware stainless steel, made in Clinton, Illinois and Rome, New York that I purchased in the 70's. I then got some new-fangled, non-stick Teflon. Until it scratched. I learned it then leaks chemicals into my food so I got some stuff that says I can use metal and scrubbies on it. Until it scratched. Chemical leakage again, so I started using more of my USA-made cast iron, seasoned them well, used steel wool (no soap) to clean off stuck-on food, and I got the bonus of added iron in my food. Listening to commercials, I then bought a GREEN frying pan that's guaranteed not to stick. It's ok but did stick and got scratched. Probably chemicals in my food again, as well as a white pan I bought. So I started using my Revere Ware stainless; I don't use soap on the inside unless I absolutely need to, I can soak them, use steel wool, scrape with a metal spatula, use Easy-Off if I really burn stuff on, and it's as good as new! Food rarely sticks and I use little oil to coat the bottom unless a recipe says 1/4 or 1/2 inch or so. I say buy a good brand of stainless with handles that are welded or riveted on, and you'll have them to hand down to your grandkids! I'm 70 and got these when I was 23! They have copper clad bottoms for... I don't know why! I think heat distribution. P.S. I remember they were $89 for 12" & 8" pans, 1-1/2, 2, & 4 qt sauce pans, the larger having a steamer (never knew you put veges in that!) and lids for all. I have picked up oddball pieces in thrift stores, too! Go clean, go stainless!
