Answer:	We bought the Cuisinart 10" saute pan 8 or 10 months ago, but I do think I read from the info that came with the pan that they claimed the coating was lead and cadmium free. Really like this pan -- it is "non-stick" if you season it and treat it right.

Answer:	You can buy a 5ft 3 wire extension cord from wal mart or similar. Cut off female end of plug, strip back cord covering exposing the 3 wires. Strip wire ends and connect white to white, black to black and green to green inside the small electrical junction box on the front bottom right side of the appliance. Then plug it in. Appliance is made to be hard wired but installing a cord is not a difficult job. All tools and supplies can be purchased at wal mart or home store. I just unwired the cord from my old dishwasher and put it on this one. This machine is great and cleans like none other also very quiet.

This toy is nice because it has a switch that will allow smaller children to watch the colored balls to swirl around. When they get big enough to actually use it, it actually will pick up small Styrofoam balls. (Don't let them vacuum up dust and dirt - it will clog the machine - we tried it) I would suggest purchasing colored Styrofoam balls on Amazom for him to vacuum up. (The white ones are a bit too heavy and don't do as well as the colored balls.) You will only need one package - they go a long way!
