Answer:	You do not need to switch. I think people are trying to use these like the 35 headphones. Which is why the are getting frustrated. Unlike those, you are not forced to switch between devices. It will automatically remember the last 8 devices you paired with. And if the device you want to pair with is set up to connect with it, it will do so automatically. It even will stay connected with two devices at the same time. These are much “smarter” technology than the 35.

Answer:	It will work, but probably not well. They have a problem that keeps them from working reliably on Zoom, Teams, or other video conferencing software when connected to Windows PCs or Macs. There is supposed to be a firmware update to fix this, but the first one that came out (1.4) caused worse problems, so they recalled it, and they have only promised a new version (1.5) but I haven't been able to actually find it anywhere as of Sept 13, 2020. Bose support is worse than useless. I'm giving up and returning them.

Answer:	I found these to sound better. It may be because the Noise Reduction is slightly better. I have the QC35's and the Sony wh-1000xm3's. I find the Bose 700's to be superior to both even if you consider the sound quality of these to be equal due to the other features. The multipoint bluetooth makes them more attractive than the Sony's. The passthrough is simply amazing. With the headphones on it sounds as if you're not wearing headphones. I no longer use any other headphones. If it's not raining I'll even take them outside because I can hear safely. I just received the Echo Buds and love them. They are my backup when it's raining (I live in Seattle).

Answer:	I've been using it with my Aeropress and a drip machine at work. Works great with the Aeropress, you can fine tune the heck out of the grind and it stays even, much more so than with a blade grinder. I paid for my grinder, but have been invited to Amazon Vine program and just recieved a french press to try out and just brewed my first batch using Nani's San Francisco blend beans with the OXO Brew on 13 (middle of coarse settings). I've been going keto with my diet, so heavy whiping cream and no sugar... tastes really good. I think if you plan on making good coffee, this is worth the investment. Wow, for a first shot at using a french press... that came out good.

Answer:	We’ve had this grinder for a couple of years and do struggle with static cling around the hopper. We also have found this model so hard to clean that today it actually went in the trash - not because it quit grinding but between the clinging mess and the difficulty cleaning it, both of which cause lingering stray grounds all over the place we had just had enough. There’s got to be a better way. And by the way although I can’t compare the noise to any other models, I can say this one is loud enough to drive the dog and the toddlers from the room.

Answer:	Yes. Amazon is overrun these days by fake reviews and it's only slightly better if they disclose they received a free product in exchange (as I do think a reviewer's time is worth something). I am now in the habit of going to a 3rd party, like Fakespot, to see if fake reviews are influencing overall rating of product. As of March 2019, Fakespot gave this product a "C" rating. I also like to read some of the middle grades to see what people like / hate about a product because most balanced reviews are going to have both positive and negative things to say.

All you receive is the "operating and safety instructions" and that's it. Answer:	Mine has also stopped. It now makes a terrible sound when I turn it on, so clearly there is power, but it does not grind. This one lasted right at 2 years, my previous one (same model) only a few months. Time for me to find a new brand.

Answer:	On the lid is a diagram showing general conversions for seconds & cups depending on what grind you want. We grind with the setting just right of the middle and for one 20 second grind and one 5 second grind for 12 cups. Note, empty it after the first 20 second grind or the grind cup may overflow. You'll need to experiment with amount of coffee ground and grind setting for your taste.

Answer:	The replacement part from Bodum is https://www.bodum.com/us/en/01-10903-01-32-component but it has been out of stock for 3 months. I emailed Bodum to complain because NOTHING takes three months to manufacturer. They said it will be in stock in June. To reply to another poster there IS NO LIST you can get on. Bodums solution? Check their web site daily and hope that "out of stock" changes to "in stock" and the hundreds of other people doing the same don't turn "in stock" back to "out of stock" before you know it. Answer:	When I was buying my Bistro I found useful the review from coffeegearathome.com. They leaned for the Bodum bistro because:"It has a larger bean catcher capacity (11 oz vs only 4 oz for the Capresso).The Borosilicate glass is more helpful than you might think. It leads to less clean-up after grinding, that's always a plus!The silicone lid on the coffee ground container is a great addition to save the coffee for a longer time."The only advantage they found for the Capresso was that it has more grinding settings (16 compared wirh the 14 of the Bodum). All the time I have been using the Bodum, I can not imagine how 2 settings more would make it better or even be needed. The Bistro is an excellent choice.

Install the Bean Hopper onto the unit and turn clockwise (several rotations-will hear clicking as unit gets tighter) until it stops with the grind size indicator on Fine.

Question:	Does the grinder shut off automatically
Answer:	Barata makes two versions of grinders: this one has a stainless steel conical burr, which is optimized for fine through coarse grinds, but perhaps not as fine as you would like for espresso. The ceramic flat burr is optimized for espresso, and may not adjust as well as you would like for coarser grinds like French press. I believe either can be used for a medium grind. It may be possible to get both for the same grinder, but I’m not sure about that.
Question:	Does the hopper keep the beans fresh? Is it air tight
Answer:	The status light only blink for the first 10 seconds or so after a status change and go off until you change function again. So you never have that continuous blinking light.
Question:	Is the grinder hands free
Answer:	The Ear bud from outside body to ear tip with a medium size ear tip on it is 1". The Ear Bud body itself is 0.5" Depth x 1" diameter x 5/8 " diameter as it is ovular. The charging case is 1.75" Height x 3" Length x 1.75" Depth.
