Answer: | It's not used for baking items such as cakes but rather for items that are built in layers. You would make your cake in another pan and then would use this to build layers while keeping a nice shape. Basically you would cut your sponge into thinner layers, placing one at the bottom of the ring you could then add your jam, mousse or what have you. Then you would add another layer of the sponge followed by another layer of your choice and so on. If you watch shows like The Great British Bake Off or The Great British Baking Show(one is on PBS and the other is currently on Netflix) you'll see them use ring molds quite a bit. Of course I'm sure YouTube has some videos as well. Hope your baking adventures go well. |

1. Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl. Add buttermilk, vegetable oil, egg and vanilla. Using a mixer, blend until smooth.
2. Add coffee and continue mixing until coffee is evenly incorporated into mixture.
3. Fill each cooking reservoir with about 1 tablespoon of batter.
4. Bake 4 to 5 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into a cake pop comes out clean.
5. Allow to cool and glaze or coat, as desired.
Tip: If you don’t have buttermilk on hand, pour 3/4 teaspoons lemon juice or vinegar into a glass measuring cup. Add milk to equal 1/4 cup. Allow to stand 5 to 10 minutes, then use in place of buttermilk in this recipe.

Answer: | I bake ALL of my cheesecakes in a water bath. It makes an ultra creamy cheesecake with no cracks. Take 2 large pieces of heavy-duty aluminum foil and wrap around springform pan. Place pan in larger pan and pour boiling water to about 1/2 way up pan or a little more. I always add about 10 minutes to the recommended baking time. With a water-bath it doesn't hurt if you over bake it a little. When time is up turn off oven and leave in for 1 hour then remove and place on wire rack to completely cool. Run knife around edges to loosen cake from sides. |

Answer: | Yes,, for the 14 inch ,, you might have to put the two of them together, like I do for a 9 x 13 pan |

Answer: | Hi, I used them on a Wilton 9"x2" springform pan. Maybe my mystake on using a sprinform pan. I followed the instructions, they do not say anything about the springform pan. Cake came out with dome, cracked in the middle, undone in the crack. Threw it out!!! The strips were starting to get burned in the inside too, I do not know why, because I followed all the instructions on how to prepared the strips, threw them too. Hope this helps |

Answer: | We've had ours since April 2014 and have used them several times (have baked 3 cakes since Thanksgiving) There has been no peeling or rust and I wash them in the dishwasher. Of course we only use them for cakes and use plastic utensils. |
