I don't know how they measure it as 2.4". It is actually an 8" diameter bangle and women with smaller wrists who need 7" or less will find it uncomfortable. I have looked for this style in a smaller size, but the 2" will only fit a child. They need to make a 2.2". It is very sturdy and well made. |

| Answer: | You can steam many food products using this vege steamer. Sticky rice can be one of them. Cleaning of the steamer after the sticky rice will be the challenge in my opinion. |

| Answer: | This will work but you might want to consider a larger size, something as big as 9 to 12 inches in diameter for artichokes. I like this steamer because it has a loop instead of a handle. Handles get in the way if you dump the vegetables out instead of picking them. Also like the way these feet are attached the basket. Better than the ones with simple pegs that are welded to the bottom of the basket which tend to break off after a while. So if you can live with the size (depending on how much you steam) this is a good one. Personally use two of them every day, once a day, for over two years now. |

| Answer: | The instructions with these pans say you have to put some oil on them before using them. It is called Seasoning the cookware, that you have to dowith Cast Iron. (although these are not cast iron)I use Coconut oil and nothing sticks to them at all. Everytime I hand wash them, I put a little coconut oil on them using a paper towel .Do NOT use anytype of spray cooking oils. They will Gum up the cookware, and all cookware, then it is unusable,My only problem is, the ceramic is very thin, and in a week or so it starts to chip and scratch. I do not want to cook on what is underneath the ceramic. It is Aluminum & unhealthily.I only use soft nonstick spatulas with all my cookware. Why the chipping starts to happen I have no idea, except it is thin. I do not stack anything on these pans, hang them on my overhead rack.These are the healthiest pans I have found that are non-stick..Amazon has replaced these 3 times, & with in 2 weeks after I have had them.!.The larger pan was the problem near the handle.Now I have made a one egg in the smaller everyday for the last 2 weeks.Now I notice it is started to show where the ceramic is coming off again on the side of the pan!!!I really wish that was not happening , I really like this inexpensive cookware, more then my caphalon commercial,that still looks like new for the last 11 years that I haveused them.I only hand wash these. you can put them in the dishwasher, but I have never done that. I called the company, and was told that, Walmart, Kmart, sears sells these, and there T-fal cookware..Good luck.. |

This isn't something unique to ceramic pans, this is for all pans as the sudden change in temperature will cause the pan to shrink suddenly on the side that contacts the water first and warp the pan. Because the warping would be caused by user error/abuse, I doubt it is covered by any warranty. |
