9 best t fal pizza pans
T-fal pizza pans are kitchen tools designed specifically for baking pizzas. T-fal is a reputable brand known for its cookware and kitchen appliances, and their pizza pans are no exception. Here's what you should know about T-fal pizza pans:
Material: T-fal pizza pans are typically made of heavy-duty carbon steel or non-stick coated steel. Carbon steel pans are durable and distribute heat evenly, while non-stick coatings make it easier to remove pizzas and clean the pan.
Size: T-fal pizza pans come in various sizes to accommodate different pizza sizes and styles. Common sizes include 12 inches, 14 inches, and 16 inches in diameter. Choose the size that suits your pizza-making needs.
Non-Stick Coating: Many T-fal pizza pans feature a non-stick surface, which prevents pizza crusts from sticking to the pan. This feature simplifies the pizza-making process and ensures that your pizza slides off the pan easily after baking.
Heat Distribution: The carbon steel construction of T-fal pizza pans allows for even heat distribution. This helps ensure that your pizza crust bakes uniformly, resulting in a crispy and evenly cooked base.
Handles: Some T-fal pizza pans have handles for easy handling when placing the pizza in the oven or removing it. These handles are usually made of heat-resistant materials for safety.
Versatility: T-fal pizza pans can be used not only for baking pizzas but also for making other oven-baked dishes, such as cookies, pastries, and even reheating leftovers.
Maintenance: Cleaning T-fal pizza pans is generally straightforward, especially if they have a non-stick coating. Most can be cleaned with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid abrasive scrubbers to prevent damaging the non-stick surface.
Durability: T-fal is known for producing durable kitchen products, and their pizza pans are designed to withstand regular use and high oven temperatures.
Price: T-fal pizza pans are available at various price points, depending on the size and features. While they may be slightly more expensive than basic pizza pans, the quality and performance they offer can make them a worthwhile investment for avid pizza makers.
In summary, T-fal pizza pans are well-regarded kitchen tools designed to help you bake delicious homemade pizzas. They come in various sizes, offer even heat distribution, often feature non-stick coatings for easy pizza removal and cleanup, and are durable enough to last through many pizza-making sessions. Whether you're a seasoned home chef or just starting to explore pizza making, a T-fal pizza pan can be a valuable addition to your kitchen.

User questions & answers
Question: | What type of non-stick finish is on the pan? I plan to use it on a charcoal grill at high heat. Will it survive that, or should I go with uncoated |
Answer: | I bake pizza at 425 degrees F, and it works just fine. This is made of aluminum and it does not rust and I've had my pans for years. Best to wash them by hand, aluminum pans don't always fare well in the dishwasher. |
Question: | What is it made of |
Answer: | They have special grill pans and baskets that were designed for use on grills. This pan is so big that if it were used on the grill, the grill top would not close. Also it would ruin the pan for use inside in your regular oven. The pans that are designed for use on a grill are more open on the bottom which would work better on a grill anyway. |
Question: | Many 14" pizza pans include the edges in the dimensions. What is the true size of the finished pizza made in this pan |
Answer: | The Wearever and T-Fal brands are both owned by the same company. If you google WearEver CushionAir pizza pan you can see what the original thing looked like, and this T-Fal looks pretty much identical. Hope that helps. |
Question: | I notice this pan is larger than a lot of pizza pans, which I like the idea of, but is it too big? Does it fit in the oven okay |
Answer: | Instructions recommend greasing pan so didn't know they were nonstick |
Question: | What is the highest temp the "Natural" pan can handle? The "Nonstick" says preheat oven to 425 degrees F |
Answer: | No, mine is still in good condition, not rusted. |
Question: | can this pan be used on a grill |
Answer: | I am sorry I do not know. I real do like this pans |
Question: | Is this the pizza pan being recommended for rapidly cooling home roasted coffee |
Answer: | I remove the pizza from the pan before cutting. Don’t want to damage the pan. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Would this be practical for baking macarons since it's labeled as a cookie sheet |
Answer: | Yes. All TiGr Lock shackles are 1.25 inches wide. The original TiGr bow-locks were available in two different widths, 1.25 inches and 0.75 inches. TiGr Lock stopped producing 0.75 inch wide bow-locks several years ago. |
Question: | what the dimension is of the side with the turned-up edge |
Answer: | I would say this is closer to the evolution mini than the fahgettaboudit, but both of those offer more resistance to more forms of attack than this in general. I would also say that a decent angle grinder in expereienced hands will cut through any lock in fairly short order. So, regardless of the lock you choose, please avoid leaving a bike in high risk areas for extended periods of time on a regular basis and/or leaving a bike outside overnight on a regular basis if you can avoid it. Stay safe! Ride your bike! |
Question: | Which side has the lip for pulling out of the oven? The 20 inch side or the 15 inch side |
Answer: | I have a 47cm frame and had to use the smaller tigr called a tigr mini. It works well but in some situation the triangular shape is difficult. I combine it with an Otto Lock which is has titanium between the layers(extremely lightweight) and functions like a much stronger cable lock. |
Question: | Has anyone bought these recently and noticed the "odd chemical smell" that one reviewer noted? I am very sensitive to chemical fumes of all kinds |
Answer: | Grinders: An angle grinder in capable hands can cut through any bike lock, even the heaviest with the highest independent security ratings, in short order. Bolt Cutters: Some bolt cutters are able to break TiGr Locks, but not all. The risk of loss to bolt cutters while using a TiGr Lock is low given all the evidence over 8+ years of use all over the world, but not zero. The risk of loss to bolt cutters for heavier locks, including most folding locks, popular u-locks, common chain locks, and many cable locks is also >0. U-locks with an 18mm diameter shackle may be an exception. No lock can eliminate the risk of theft, but using a lock reduces the risk. Any lock you leave at home because it’s a drag to carry doesn't reduce the risk at all while you're out on a ride. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Size of each sheet? Is it Tefal coated |
Answer: | Both sheets are 14 x 15-1/2 (not including the turn-up for gripping then they are 14 x 16). No coating, just two layers, aluminum, insulated for even baking. I have always used parchment paper and they stay looking like new |
Question: | Does the 16 in measurement include the "handle"? My oven is only 17 x 17, I just had to return another set b/c measurements were of the baking area |
Answer: | It is 14'' by 16.5'' including the 'handle' so you should be good. |
Question: | How can you clean them once they turn brown |
Answer: | I have had 2 Airbake cookie sheets since they first came on the shelves for sale...Years and Years. I have kept mine clean and fairly shiny. I do clean them with soap and my scrubbie pad. I clean them when hot. Never submersed in water but always rinsed off and stand to dry or I just dry them quickly. I have a few brown spots on them...but only a few. I do not believe the brown spots make anything taste better, it just shows they have been used and loved. In the past years when I did have more brown spots on them I used Easy Off but only once or twice. The last 5 or 6 years I make my own cleaning /laundry Soap and that it all I use now. For the last few years I have used Parchment Paper, or Teflon Sheets to bake the cookies on the Airbake, and this cuts down cleaning to NIL. I am ordering the silpat like baking sheets forthe Airbaks today as I just found the correct size for the Airbake...yeah. If anyone is looking for that here it is: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O8C0614/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A259X2EPN56AWJ I have been looking off and on for a couple years. I think this company designed them for the Airbake. |
Question: | I have read in the past with airbake that the bottoms of your cookies don't brown, is this true |
Answer: | The cookies do brown but you have a better control of how brown you want them to get. I have used Airbake cookie sheets for years and I have never burned a cookie yet. I do start at the suggested baking time for the recipe and adjust it to the depth of color I want them to get. |
