Answer:	No. All our ironing boards, as advertised, are made 100% in the United Kingdom by Minky Homecare.
Question:	The iron rest has small rubber-like piece on the inner area, exactly where the iron plate will rest. Will they melt onto the iron plate
Answer:	I have set my hot iron on the iron rest several times without causing the rubber piece to melt however, I've only left it there while adjusting the item I am ironing, so less than 30 seconds. I would not leave the hot iron on the iron rest for extended periods.
Question:	Is it easy to open and close? My Mother has arthritic hands
Answer:	The board doesn't lock when you close it. So hanging it is an issue. Would have been an easy fix but they missed it.
Question:	is the top metal mesh
Answer:	Yes typical top with the stretched metal mesh. What is nice is the top, pad, iron rest and the feet. This is solid and stable. Well worth it if you iron. I don't use the steam platform but maybe someday???

Question:	How tall can this board be adjusted to
Answer:	I've had numerous 13 gallon plus minus a few quarts one way or the other and pretty much not one was a match to the other in size. A few were more rectangle one quite short and wide and classic plastic liners did not fit it despite it being classified as a 13 gallon trash can. OK go back to this item click on the fifth bullet point to the right of the larger photo of item. The size is given there clearly. You can then take a measuring tool, yard stick, tape measure or even a 12" ruler if need be to measure your area you intend to place this and or your trash can to get a feel for it. But really I have no idea the size your trash bin is in height or width etc. BY the way to the math...as it's simple math you learned from 3rd grade on to figure volume or just square foot quick figure of foot print item may take up it's very clear. My guess is this double sized version I am only into the single size...but double takes up approx. two trashbins maybe a big bigger than that. The single would be closer to just one. And the single would be a wee bit bigger than that too because it's over 14 inches square so bigger than a foot by a foot. I am amazed at people who are not able to visualize or use a ruler/tape measure to check it out. If you do not want a large tape measure pick up a small sewing one from the dollar store. They are usually 60 inches or 5 feet long and are handy and fold up nice enough for a desk drawer or take up little room. I find a twist tie repurposed or non latex super flexible rubber band works perfect for holding the cloth like tape measure from unraveling and being messy.

Question:	The iron holder seems to be made of plastic. Is it meant to hold the hot iron while in use
Answer:	It will hold an iron in progress, resting on the "heel" of it of course. It is made of a heavy duty plastic, but will definitely hold an iron placed on the "heel" while hot. That part of the board will also hold a stack of flat items while ironing. It is very stable!
Question:	What is the actual Dimensions of board in inches without the holder or wings out
Answer:	It's 47" long, end to tip (without the plastic holder). It's 18" wide & begins to narrow toward the (rounded) tip 33" from the end. All corners are rounded. The wings are useful in some situation. It's a partial solution to a minor annoyance & we'd replace it if it disappeared. It's reasonably sturdy, but we haven't tested the stability with children or pets.
Question:	Can the tray be removed altogether

Question:	Does the 44” length include the ironing rest? What is the size of the ironing surface
Answer:	The work surface is 44 inches in length. The iron rest area is 7 1/2 inches long and about 10 inches wide.
Question:	Is the surface height really maxed out at 36”? If so that is incredibly short
Answer:	The work surface can be adjusted from 32 to about 36 inches from the floor. 36 inches is standard kitchen counter hight, I believe.
Question:	how thick is it when folded for storage
Answer:	The top is 2" or less but the feet stick out several inches. It slides perfectly inside my bedroom closet. For the small size, it's sturdy when set up. I took a picture but it doesn't appear I can load it.
Question:	has anyone hung this up? How did it go? And what did you use
Answer:	Yes, we hung ours with an over the door hanger from Amazon, it also held the Iron as well. Works great!

Answer:	I haven't had a problem with it bleeding onto white cotton fabric using my steam iron. I really like this cover.

Question:	Is it ptfe-free or has a teflon-like coating
Answer:	Message the seller through the email by going through their profile.
Question:	Is the iron rest removable
Answer:	Turn over the ironing board. You will see a short, black tipped handle. Once you find the handle, press it against the board. While holding the handle down, lower the legs against the board.
Question:	Is there a lock to keep it fully closed when folded and not in use
Answer:	it is very light, but poorly constructed.
