User questions & answers
Question: | How does the sizing work |
Answer: | These sock are knee high. They fit me at two inches below the knee cap, as they should be worn. They are easy to put on, feel great all day and they are my favorites. |
Question: | Hi! How do you measure for size for these gloves |
Answer: | Don't really know but can provide my experience. Dr prescribed for my wife, she wears a women's size 10 shoe. Bought a medium and a large women's size socks and could not get either over her heel. Had to go to a men's size large/x-large. Was finally able to get them on her, they are a big help for RLS, and as a matter of fact she has them on right now. |
Question: | Is this just one glove or a pair |
Answer: | That's a tough one to answer. Regarding my sizes, and extrapolating to your sizes, I surmise the socks will be loose. I suggest you talk to the Sockwell Co for advice. |
Question: | How fire /flame resistant are they? Do I need to be concerned while forging |
Answer: | I'd say it is equivalent to size 11D |
Question: | What size should I buy? 4 in across my palm (not including my thumb) and 7 1/2 in middle finger down to my wrist |
Answer: | I don't know about the neuropathy. I just use these socks for swelling and they work great for that. Perhaps your doctor could help with your question regarding the type of sock you need. |
Question: | This is a pair and not just one glove, correct |
Answer: | I haven’t noticed any shrinking with them. Follow the instructions. I don’t put them in the dryer. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Are they good for installing fences? I.e chain link |
Answer: | Think you measure around your palm, close to your knuckles. Mine was 8.75", and I always wear an XL in female gloves. I got a size 9 and they fit perfectly. |
Question: | Can they have a hand warmer slid into them |
Answer: | I got on the heritage glove website and they show where to measure and a grid of the size that would fit you the best with measurement. I did what it said and my gloves fit perfect!!! |
Question: | is size 12 xtra large |
Answer: | It is a pair of work gloves |
Question: | Are these gloves truly waterproof |
Answer: | I'm a full time Farrier of 18 years, no need to worry around the forge. Just watch the slag on the back of the glove while shaping. It can stick but they do seem to hold up better than the other fingerless framer style gloves by other brands. |
Question: | Do they grip the reins well? My daughter's last pair of show gloves (different brand) were slippery |
Answer: | i dont know what size, but these are great gloves |
Question: | Has anyone gotten a pair of these with a very strong smell |
Answer: | yes, of course, its a pair. they are very nice. i only ride with these |
Question: | Are these for men or women |
Answer: | These are not a sheer liner. |
Question: | What are the sizes? Numbers are blurry....this is for my 7yo daughter |
Answer: | These have an invisibly reinforced toe. |
Question: | is there a sizing chart |
Answer: | The padding covers the entire sole of the liner, however, there's roughly 3" of added padding in the arch. |
Question: | Are these gloves good for cold weather |
Answer: | We apologize that we misunderstood your question. The total length of the sole for S/M is 7 ¾”. |
Question: | how do i know my hand size? im 6 foot |
Answer: | Sorry for the inconvenient, but the athletic socks only comes in white. The sport version does comes in black. |
Question: | Where are the gloves made |
Answer: | They are a bit more comfortable, but I must wear the silicone top the reason being is that the other ones roll down on me and then the stocking tops are binding and cutting in on my legs really bad. The silicone top prevents them from rolling down because of the silicone knobs. So if you have the problem where they roll down then you really must use the silicone top ones other wise you could use the regular top ones. That is the huge difference and reason for the two tops. Hope this helps. Also Jobst does not make the silicone tops, those tops are where it has little knobs on the inside of the top band. The only company that I have found that make that type of top is Mediven. Yes I know they are more expensive. But shop around there are some places that give a better price than others Brightlite is one place and Compression ?? also sometimes has better prices. The really bad thing is they all are only good for 6 months. |
Question: | How are these when they get wet? Ex: filling water buckets or rinsing off horses |
Answer: | A pair of socks |
Question: | Are these womens |
Answer: | The pressure is consistent throughout even at the top. What you will face is the top rolling down and acting like a tourniquet - must constantly adjust. |
Question: | Are these waterproof |
Answer: | My shoe size is 12.5 in most shoes. I wear an x-large Sockwell sock which is for sizes 10.5 to 13 according to the package. |
Question: | What size would you recomend to match a mens large |
Answer: | what size sock for a 9.5' foot |
Question: | Are these gloves lined |
Answer: | Hi Celticrn33,These socks are actually 15-20mmHg compression, which is more suitable for all day wear. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask!Best,Content SpecialistBAM Partners |
Question: | I received these Sunday. Why is only one palm reinforced |
Answer: | For me they do. I run and my calves are good-sized. I buy the M-L for a size 9 foot and they fit well. It's a little work to get them on - I scrunch them up and pull and tug until they are on my foot properly. After that, they go on easily. The reviews of people who had thin calves complained about the socks being too big. I love the socks. |
Question: | If I’m a women’s 9 what size in these unisex |
Answer: | I don't know what the fabric is. Probably has some nylon or spandex . All I know is they are more comfortable than any other compression socks I've worn. |
