Answer:	Yes, it can. The rivets (not crimped bolts) that hold the iron holder on are easily drilled out. Took me all of 5 min to completely remove the iron holder and there was zero damage to the ironing board itself. I can also re-install it using rivets or screws very easily if I choose to.

Answer:	NO!! There are no hooks like someone else stated in a reply. Disappointed as I read the other answer to this question & night this thinking I could hang it up & you can’t. Even if you use the leg to hang it up it doesn’t work for that purpose as there is nothing to keep the leg from pulling away from the board.

Installation Highlights!

1. Have 16"-on-center studs in the wall.

2. Cut a rectangle out of your wall.

3. Set the cabinet inside the cutout.

4. Secure the cabinet to the studs (wood or metal is fine, but we only provide hardware for wood).

Can this be mounted to the wall instead of in it?

No. This cabinet must be installed into the wall. That's how to support the unit against the force and torque of opening and using the swivel ironing board!

Height adjust even after installation.

Board opens 10" above the bottom of the cabinet, so adjust your cabinet cutout to fit the height you want!

Note: If Cutout = 25" off the floor, then board will be approx. 36-38" high.

Then, once it's installed, the board can be lifted 2" higher thanks to the innovated inside height adjust! Just grab the board on either side near the back and lift it along the glides.

Right and left-handed comfort.

The Stow Away ironing board rotates 90 degrees to the right and to the left. Tighten or loosen how easily it swivels by adjusting the nut on the underside of the board.

Cut a hole into the wall.

Cut a hole in the wall--between 16"-on-center studs--that is that is 46.25" tall x 14.25".

Choose the height of the cutout based on where you want the board to open. Board opens 10" above the bottom of the cabinet, or about 9" above the bottom of the cutout.

Set cabinet into cutout.

Before putting the cabinet in, pre drill the holes on the frame where the door will install.

Then, carefully lift cabinet into cutout, setting the cabinet into the bottom first, then pushing the cabinet flush into the hole.

Secure cabinet to framing studs.

Secure the cabinet to the frame studs. Screw right under the shelves.

Hardware for wood studs is included. For metal studs, please visit your local hardware store for the right screws!

Install the door!

Attach hinges to the door. Lift and align the door with the holes you drilled into the cabinet frame. (Best with 2 people!) Screw the hinges to the cabinet to attach the door.

Answer:	I really like this ironing board. It doesn't give 4 inches, but I don't push down hard on it either. It has a slight give, but pretty level overall. I find it to be pretty sturdy.

Question:	how deep is the inside...in other words, whats the maximum sized iron can i store inside it
Answer:	Looking at the dimensions it would not fit. Product Dimensions: 20.2 x 15.3 x 4.1 inches. There is a hinge bracket that mounts to the back of the drawer face and this hinge cannot be modified to fit.
Question:	How far into the wall can this be installed
Answer:	This unit requires a minimum cabinet opening of 14-1/4" W x 20" D x 4" H. It does feature an adjustable width from 14-1/4" - 21". Given the 15" depth of your cabinet, it does NOT appear that this unit will fit into your cabinet. We hope that this information is helpful!

Answer:	I have mine installed with a drawer front in a 22 inch space. The installation mounting is variable from 15 inches to 24 inches. You will need a drawer front as the product does not come with one.

Question:	Is it possible to have the door hinged on the left side
Answer:	This unit is constructed to fit in a drawer 14 1/2" - 19" wide. If your question references a drawer 24" wide, no it will not fit without executing major modifications.
Question:	What are the inside dimensions for the iron storage? I need to know if my iron will fit
Answer:	I don't know what exact size, in inches a standard ironing board is, but this one I would guess is somewhat smaller than that. I've measured it, and it's 37.5" long by 12" wide. I cannot put an entire leg of my husband's pants onto the board to iron at once. I have to do the top half, and then move them to do the bottom half. But quite frankly, I don't care about the small bit of hassle of having to move my garment I am trying to iron; it's worth it to me to be able to easily shut an unsightly ironing board out of the way when not in use. We don't iron daily. I actually hate ironing. I don't want an iron left out. I like a clean, neat room, with a place for everything. But when I do have to iron, this drawer works very well, & then goes back into it's place equally well. It does what I want. I am very pleased with it. Being able to do it's job, and be super-easily accessible is what I wanted, and is exactly what this 'iron in a drawer' delivers.
Question:	Can you use latex paint in the flat maple door
Answer:	In checking with Hafele, the sleeve board stores in the ironing board unit. Whether it is worth it or not however is more preferential to you your use.

Answer:	Yes. It adjusted perfectly to my 1 1/2 overhang.

Answer:	The ironing board in the picture looks like a knotty alder ironing board. This unit is made with MDF ironing board that is 42" long and 11 1/2" at the widest point. If this is not the correct model let me know.
