Answer:	if you mean download videos from your SD card to your computer to burn them to disc, this would fit the bill. If you have to buy a DVD burning software do your research. I use ConvertXto DVD or ConvertXtoHD to burn my disc but there is a free one out there and I forget the name of it but I remember that one had a very steep learning curve to it. I have never had a problem getting files from a CD with this program, but you may have to do it in two steps: rip the files from the CD, then convert them. Answer:	I only converted my personal vhs tapes to dvd but I think that you will be able to copy old movies as well.

Answer:	Yes, you first capture them on your hard drive as individual captures. Then when you use the "burn to DVD option" it will allow you to pick as many captured "mpeg" files as will fit on a standard DVD. You can also use a double layer DVD to get more onto it.

Answer:	You miniDV recorder probably had a digital output possibly with a firewire connector. Don't think this product will connect to that. If you're lucky your camcorder also had a standard video/audio cable output as well, which will work but not as high quality as the direct digital output. There are firewire adapters out there, if need be.
Question:	Copy Protected okay
Answer:	Not affected by copy protected tapes. ClearClick works by digitally recording from the output of your VCR directly and has nothing to do with the copy protection on a tape at all. I have done a few and it works perfectly.

Question:	Almost every disk burning software can burn .iso files, but can this one rip .iso files from an existing dvd
Answer:	I purchased Verbatim CD-RW discs with 700 MB capacity. It is very important to purchase RW instead of just R type discs. I purchased from Amazon the program "Express Burn Disc Burning" program as I need to Scan many Physical Records into my computer and then burned the information to the Discs. I was successful in copying pictures and records needed to file a claim with VA because of health problems when I was in Viet Nam for 2years, 6 months and 17 days. This also included MRI and X-Rays. I then would burn disc from information on the discs given to me from Hospitals, Doctors and information that I had to copy to a disc. I firmly believe that you need to purchase the CD-RW, Rewritable Discs to use and I firmly believe that you will be able to burn .ISO files using the Express Burn Program. I have tried using discs that are CD-W and it will not copy, pictures or the files that I needed to burn to a disc, however, when using the "Express Burn Program" with CD-RW discs, it will copy your files. Answer:	I would say that the side the laser burns is lavender, almost identical to the color you see on the product label bottom half.
Question:	What is the difference between "Branded" and not
Answer:	Verbatim does not actually manufacture their own discs. They also use 2 different manufacturers that I am aware of. The superior quality Verbatim AZO discs, are manufactured by Mitsubishi, which should be the product on this page. The Verbatim DataLifePlus/DataLife Series are a lower quality product, manufactured by CMC Magnetics. Neither type of disc are actually manufactured by Verbatim themselves. This is a very common practice among most CD/DVD/BD recordable disc brands.
Question:	Verbatim life series dvds are reported to be lower quality and less reliable. i don't want life series. are these life series dvds
Answer:	I don't remember them having "Life Series" on the label, so I doubt it, but in any case, I used them ALL without one problem ~ THEY WERE FLAWLESS!
Question:	Are these DVD's rewritable? They have the "RW" on the case but the description says "write once
Answer:	No they are not rewriteable. In this case the RW signifies read-write. That means you can read from them and write to them. This item is marked DVD+R. If they are marked DVD+RW they would be rewriteable. They have to have the RW behind the disc description. Ex. CD-RW, CD+RW, DVD-RW, DVD+RW would signify all rewriteable disc's.
