Answer: Well from what I've read it looks like it's bit rate is 128kbps.. I haven't listened to recorded music yet but I have tried hooking it up to my phone and they didn't communicate however from what I've read is that you plug a thumb drive/sd card or an mp3 player and it will work... I don't have an mp3 player so... I hope that helps

Question: How heavy is rug
Answer: I did use both the USB port and SD card slot to experiment which works. I bought a 32 gig SD card from Amazon during a daily deal within the last week, week and a half and transferred my audio files from my laptop to it and it works fine on the player. Last night, after transferring some audio files from my cell to a flash drive (I found a deal for two 32 gig flash drives with micro-usb attachment for $20 last weekend), the player couldn't find any files. That's not to say it can't play it, but play around.

Answer: Two ways to do it: You can record one track at a time.Also,record the entire side and run it through an editor program.I use DAK.com's Holy Grail program.Works fine.To me this is the turntable's major failing.I still love it.I have recorded a lot of lp's to mp3.
