Tip #1: Read the instruction.

Tip #2: Make sure the fountain pump is properly immersed in water.

Tip #3: All pumps are tested for quality assurance. If you hear pump noise then it is because the pump is not properly immersed in water (try putting in more water, refer to instructional manual) or not properly placed / laying flat inside the fountain (try place adjusting the pump slowly in the fountain until pump noise goes away completely).

Tip #4: For first time use, we recommend turn on the fountain first and when water starts running then place the crystal ball on top (this is to build water pressure and tension). No need to remove crystal ball after that.

Tip #5: If crystal ball is not spinning it means there is some friction between the ball and the area where the ball sits. With a wet towel clean the crystal ball and the circular part where the ball sits. Also make sure water pump is set all the way to positive.

Tip #6: Note that water pumps do not come with on/off switch

Answer:	It has a power adapter already wired in just pull ouy of the box, fill woth water and plug in. Just make sure you keep pump in water or it will burn out.

Answer:	If you hear motor noise the pump is either defective or you do not have enough water in the fountain. Be sure the pump is completely submersed in water. Thank you.

Answer:	No, it is really just a desk top fountain.
Question:	Can you run the pump with the light off
Answer:	No it cannot. However, I would just recommend maybe just using a dark oil based paint and painting over the light if you want it permanently off. Additionally, the fountain collects a lot of debris overtime. When I tried to clean the reservoir + pump, it gave me issues restarting back up again. Overall the product lasted me maybe 5-7 months. Also the overall material the whole product is made with is not at all durable. I would strongly suggest investing in a better quality product. Just my 2 cents, sorry :(
