Looking at it, I'd suggest just running the wires through a clear plastic or vinyl piece of tubing if they need protecting.

Answer:	I'm using the pump with a %V power supply, and it works well at that voltage. I have not compared flow rates at different voltages.

Answer:	Only clean water. I added a nylon cloth filter screen to the intake. Works well. If it does get clogged it is easy to clean. Remove 4 screws and face plate, pull out impeller, rinse well with clean water, reinstall, good to go again.

Question:	Mine started pumping as soon as I took it outside but it is intermittent. Anyone have that happen
Answer:	I bought 3. They all work great. At first I thought I had 2 intermittent ones. Put unit 1 outside, no problems. Wanted to put the next one on the screen porch in my pet's bowl. Thought it was full sun. Units 2 and 3 were both intermittent in that spot. Moved them completely outside (no insect screen) and they both work like unit 1. Had to change the spray head on the first unit as it was so powerful it was sending the water up about 2 feet, and the wind was spilling the water out of the bowl. Will be buying more .
Question:	Does the one have a bubbler? We live in very windy Oklahoma and the water just blows away on the wind
Answer:	My husband took off the nozzler and just left nothing. That is the "bubbler". We are high wind here so that works for us. Just do not use any of the nozzles.

Answer:	About 6 and 1/2 inches in diameter. Be sure that your bowl is at least 17 inches wide, or you may find that the fountain spits all of the water so high that it falls out of the fountain after a little while. I had to upgrade my bowl to a wider model for this reason.

Answer:	No, but it does work when the sun is shining on it. It starts working better after a few days in the sun and some days it kept on working when it was cloudy! make sure it has enough water. Question:	Does anyone know of a compatible cable that I can buy? I would like something even longer
Answer:	I had to make an extension cable so the solar panel could go up on the roof. I use my own connectors, RC power connectors.
Question:	Can I set the fountain sideways in a bird bath to create waves
Answer:	I would think so. Mine is mounted sideways in a basin underneath a concrete ball that pours water. It works well in bright sun. It might make small waves.

Answer:	Mine was pulsing right from the start. Looking at the impeller on the pump it seemed to turn fine, figured it was the solar panel. Connected two AA batteries to the pump connection and pump started working. So it’s a bad solar panel.
Question:	how many people here were paid for a 5 star rating? how disgraceful you are to sell your integrity for 10 bucks. it deceives the rest of us. report in
Answer:	Has anyone been able to reach to seller? The solar pump on mine just died after 7 weeks. Voltage from the solar panel is 12VDC on one side of the pins and 28 VDC on other. That leads me to say the pump failed. And no we never ran it dry and we always had clean water in the 5 gallon bucket.

Question:	How many lights are there?Can they be replaced when burn out or do you trash the fountain?The lighting is half of the reason for the fountain, I think
Answer:	There is only one light ...the light on my fountain has already burnt out. I don't think it can be replaced either. The light is one of the reasons I bought the fountain but I'll probably still keep it ..it's still a nice fountain.
Question:	what batteries does it require and how many, I want to purchase for a gift and have it ready to go from the day it is recieved
Answer:	I do not believe mine have batteries.... They just run until they're not nice and shiny any longer. I ran mine at least 10 hours every night, 7 days/week and then tossed in out. To my mind, NOTHING will ever replace the Grecian Gardens Envirascape. The color reflected on the ceiling and was beautiful to hear and see.
Question:	Do you think that this fountain would be a good idea in an eleven year old girl's bedroom
Answer:	Yeah, I think that an 11 year old would love it. I would just make sure that the fountain doesn't stay too close to an electrical outlet, in case she knocks it over. The power cord is pretty long and easily could sit on a desk or a bed table far enough away from an outlet.

Answer:	It's about 8" tall and the bowl is squarish - about 6.25" each side. it does need to be kept clean. i found that a weekly cleaning with peroxide works well. (My cat uses it for beverage)
