Answer:	I think doing that would jeopardize the stability of the unit, especially since it only has 3 legs, it really needs the shelves - especially the bottom one which adds a 4th "foot" in the center to help keep it from tipping forward. It might work if you have it very well anchored into the wall though, but I wouldn't really recommend it.
Question:	What is the maximum weight each self can hold
Answer:	It is not that stable on carpet - specially if it is fluffier bedroom carpet like mine. I ended up only adding light items on them because I was scared it would tip over.

Answer:	I bought the more expensive one thinking it was of better quality. I was wrong. Don't expect either one is the same as an original. Years ago I found one at a thrift shop for about $4 and regret giving it away. As far as the dimensions they two offered in Amazon are identical but come from different manufacturers. Answer:	They would have to be small books, I use my self for trinkets. They are very sturdy, but I wouldn't use it to hold multiple books.

Answer:	Yes you can. Each piece comes independent, so can create as many times as you would like with the amount of pieces available.
Question:	I want to use these in a bedroom. Would a normal alarm clock radio fit on the medium size shelf or just the largest shelf
Answer:	Yes, If possible, at least one side should be fastened to a stud for maximum stability. Since studs are placed 16" on center, only one side of a 42" grab bar would match up with a stud. If a stud is not available and you are drilling through drywall plastic anchors will need to be placed in the drilled hole before fastening bar to wall. For even greater safety small toggle bolts would be best; however that may not be possible if you do not have access to the back side of the wall. Which ever way you choose to fasten the grab bar, it needs to be very secure to prevent an accident.
