Question:	how accurate is the clock
Answer:	Today is June 12, 2019, 4:50 pm.......my clock is saying it's June 11, 9:45 PM. I just tossed it in the trash because NOW I can't even set it to the correct day and time. Also, if the power is interrupted it's suppose to return to the correct time when power resumes. No......it doesn't. And it's SO tricky to re-set the thing that a person with dementia would never be able to do it. Very frustrating.

Answer:	This clock does not have to be near a window at all times but this does help during initial set up for connection to the atomic signal.

Answer:	This clock is electric operated; the battery backup does not power the clock. The battery backup is used for storing the time and alarm settings if the power is interrupted. During battery backup the clock’s display will not be lit. Once the power is restored the display will re-light.

Answer:	Yes it does. It also has a factoy warranty but I always buy the extended warranty with any new appliance. My moms clock is still working great.

Question:	My clock will randomly reset the date back to January 1. Is there a reason why it does this? It's happened 5 times in the last month
Answer:	Sounds like a problem with the unit. I have a lot of power outages where I live and never had my clock reset back to January. Actually, the only time I need to do anything is maybe once every couple months to correct the time a couple minutes.

Answer:	Controls are on the back of the clock. Use the horizontal arrows, left or right to the correct location of what needs to be changed. Then use the vertical arrows, up and down to set the correct hour,minures, time zone etc. . By unplugging and replugging in the clock should reset to the correct day, date and year.
Question:	Can it be hung on the wall
Answer:	YES, the DayClox Red/White/Blue day clock can be wall hung.

Found this on the Dayclox website: "DayClox Digital Calendar Day Clock is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the date purchased under statutory conditions which does not include accidental damage, misuse, or any form of tampering. Damage to the hidden security seal will make the warranty null and void."
Question:	Can the preset cycle start times be changed? i'm afraid my husband would think "pre dawn" means "nearly time to get up
Answer:	The cycles are pre-set & cannot be changed. Our clock says "Before Dawn" (not Pre Dawn). The tricky part is that after Midnight, the Day & Date changes to the next day. Technically, anything after 12:00 midnight would be "Morning". Since displaying the word 'Morning' would really be too confusing for many seniors & may cause many people to get up out of bed, we carefully chose the words "Before Dawn" to hopefully pre-empt this problem. If you want a clock to say NIGHT all night long until it's actually time for your loved one to get up, we would recommend getting the Dementia Day Cycle Clock. It will not give the exact time, it would read: "Now it's Thursday Night" all through the night until whatever time you set it to switch to "Now it's Friday Morning".
