Question:	I saw the wired remote ready feature. Does the mean i can add another of these head units in another location
Answer:	If you use it with the toner transmitter and connect it correctly to the conductor and drive the ground rod supplied, its possible. This may tricky if power is still on the conductor you are trying to detect The power line detector that is built into the receiver(which does not use the rf transmitter) has only about a 24" range so depending on conditions wet soil,iron deposits, etc it maybe unreliable. Stranded vs non-stranded should make no difference. If the conductor is non-insulated or grounded forget it.
Question:	Is it best to use an external amp with this
Answer:	Locating a metal fish tape in a PVC sewer pipe should work as long as you connect one of the Alligator clips to the Fish Tape. Follow the instructions for the best way to achieve this.
Question:	does the USB charge and play media at the same time
Answer:	It can locate wiring, irrespective of whether it is 115v or 24v. Just advise you remove power from the wire under investigation before you attach this.
Question:	Can a sirius receiver connect to this unit
Answer:	I don't think it would isolate the short from the rest of the wire as it continues past the short. It could locate the conductor in the wall. If the conductor feeds several receptacles or appliances, then by disconnecting them one at a time it may narrow down the possibilities to drywall screw or siding nail to a few possible locations usually at framing studs. The hf signal in the signal generator will probably propagate across the short into the rest of the conductor. Its possible you may receive any indication of the wire location unless you remove the ground at the power panel before you begin searching with the receiver.

Answer:	I downloaded the JBL Connect app yesterday and walked through the tutorial. For JBL Connector to work you need to press the Connect button on each speaker to pair them. There is no Connect button on the JBL Horizon. I would guess the answer to your question is no. Also I unfortunately don't have another JBL Connect product that could pair so I can't be certain.

Answer:	The instructions say to snooze the alarm with the snooze button and shut off the alarm with the smaller button behind the snooze button. When I set the alarm to go off with the radio , I could snooze the alarm but I couldn't shut off the alarm as they've instructed. I had to return it. Everything else worked fine except for shutting off the alarm when it was set to the radio.

Answer:	This model does not support radio or bird sounds. It only has a beep that gradually gets louder. The beeps progress to full loudness in about a minute.

Answer:	Yes, you can. My husband opened it up for me and snipped the speaker wire. I now use the light (across the room) and an alarm near my bed. It’s quite pleasant.
Question:	I have to sleep in a completely dark room. Can you disable the clock display while you sleep
Answer:	The dimmest display setting is more dim that my previous clock, but still too bright for me to be happy with. Since I also sleep poorly unless the room is VERY dark, I wear my eye mask and can usually fall asleep this way. My mask falls off while I sleep almost every night, so the brightening light still wakes me in the morning! (For me, this is true about 13/14 nights.) With my old clock, I would layer Kleenex tissues over the display until it was just BARELY visible in the dark. This clock face is too tall for the tissue trick to work, but the orange glow is lighter than my old red display. Good luck!
