Answer:	I am not 100% sure but I would imagine it is probably 70/30 (copper/zinc). I use it to make pins for knife handles. It is soft enough to grind down easily but still very strong. I have had no problems with this product and would suggest it to anyone.

That screw can be loosened and the rod can be pulled forward to extend further out (or completely removed from the bracket to make installation easier).
