Answer:	I feel that it does burn longer than the cheaper oils. When I burn a 3oz lamp continuously the oil will last, on average, about 10-12 hours before I have to refill the lamp. Also, the oiil lives up to its claims that it burns without fumes or odor.

The refining and distilling process removes the Firefly product from the base petroleum leaving a pure fuel that has similar properties of paraffin. Answer:	If your oil lamp requires a petroleum-based fuel, Firefly CLEAN Lamp Oil is a good choice. This fuel works well in oil candles and cold-blast lanterns that use a small wick. Large-wicked vessels that use a large 1/2" wick like tiki torches are not recommended as the fuel will smoke. We don’t recommend adding scents or essential oil to our fuels for two reasons.  1) Adding scents will change the burning characteristics of the fuel and may produce soot and smoke 2) Adding essential oils is expensive. You can easily color your outdoor or indoor lamp and candle oil using our liquid candle dyes. No longer do you need to purchase lots of different EXPENSIVE colored lamp oil. Do it yourself easily and without any mess. Please note that different colors have different viscosities and it is advisable to shake before using.

You will need paper towels, 2-3 wooden toothpicks, oil-based color dye (which you just found!), an oil candle or oil lamp and Firefly Lamp Oil. ;-)

Step 1) Create a small protected work area with paper towels.

Step 2) Fill your oil candle 3/4 full with Firefly Lamp Oil or just add the dye to the bottle of fuel.

Step 3) Select your color. Over the paper towel coat the tip of the toothpick with a small amount of dye. You can always add more. If too much, simply wipe on the paper towel

Step 4) Dip the toothpick into the oil candle and shake to incorporate the dye. Continue to add color until you get the desired depth of color. If creating a secondary color, simply use another toothpick with a new color and dip into the oil candle.

Note: The toothpick method works great for coloring small amounts of fuel. It lets you easily control the depth of color. If you are coloring a 16-oz. or 32-oz. bottle, you'll probably want to use a full drop or more depending on the depth of color you prefer.

A Word of Caution – Accidents do happen. The dye will stain clothing, skin, countertops, etc. So here are some tips if you spill the dye. Tackle the stain immediately. Lacquer thinner will remove the stain from hard surfaces; petroleum jelly and coconut oil from the skin; and non-acetate nail polish remover or toothpaste on a nail brush for under the nails. Clothing? An oil-based stain remover should do it. Just be careful!

One more thing... This is lamp oil dye which colors the lamp oil. It will not color the flame.

I'd like to give you some tips so that you can get the maximum performance from Firefly Liquid Paraffin Lamp Oil. IMPORTANT: You can get even the purist fuel to smoke if you use it improperly.

1) Remove old residual fuel from the fuel reservoir before filling with Firefly Fuel. It doesn't need to dishwasher clean but you certainly don't want to mix fuels together. Mixing fuels will change their burning properties and may cause excessive smoke.

2) Use a clean wick. The wick is the delivery vehicle for the fuel. If the wick is contaminated with old fuel or water, it will not perform properly.

3) The wick should be as low as possible. This will reduce smoke, provide a more consistent flame and conserve fuel.

Liquid Paraffin Lamp Oil will solidify at the freezing point of 32 degrees. It will turn to liquid again above 32 degrees without harm to the fuel.

Here are other considerations that may be of interest. Our plastic bottles are recylable. All Firefly Fuels use commercial-style bottles with childproof caps and there are NO inactive ingredients, such as colorants, which reduce purity.

Answer:	Technically yes. It does put out a mist kind of like a humidifier, but not like a traditional humidifier. It's a pretty small unit and I refill mine every night(I also use oils but that doesn't make a difference), but prefer it that way. It's very compact and I know filling it often keeps it clean, unlike big humidifiers that need filters, etc. I definitely recommend this unit!
Question:	Does this also work as an air purifier? I see reviews that mention "purifying properties" of their oils, but not that the unit purifies the air
Answer:	I don't see how it could, but I really can't say. I use On Guard essential oils from doTerra, which purifies the air. I like that this has the option of running for a minute or so and then stops for 30 seconds and then repeats....it can last all night that way. If you choose the option to constantly run, it doesn't last all night. I'm overall really happy with it!

Answer:	Costco sells Charmin that is 4.5" width of roll X 4.25" length of each sheet.

Answer:	948.64 total square feet is my estimate based on current data ----- Trying to find the real answer to this question... given the data that each square is 3.92 inches by 4 inches, that means each square is 3.92 * 4 =15.68 square inches, while 1 square foot is 12 inch by 12 inch or 12*12 = 144 square inches... so 15.68/144 gives us the square footage of 1 sheet. 0.1088888 (bit more than a tenth of a square foot, so we can already figure square footage is above sheet count divided by 10). Next up, each pack you buy is said to contain 24 Rolls (363 sheets per roll), so 24 multiplied by 363 will give us total sheets purchased, 8712 sheets... each one is 0.1088888 square feet, so 8712 multiplied by 0.10888888 = 948.64 total square feet... double checked my work, but feel free to provide corrections if I got something wrong here, or if you own the pack and it's labeled differently?

Answer:	It's actually 3 packs of 8...24 total. But the Mega rolls are so big, they last like 24 rolls per pack.

Answer:	It is a shame that Charmin has to go to this extreme to “fool” it’s consumers, most of whom are loyal simply because they love the quality of the product. I have found the easiest way for me to determine the best value when purchasing charmin is to note that the one constant is they all show the comparable number of regular rolls each package would equal. The regular roll amount is the amount you want to compare. Take the cost of the package and divide it by the number of regular rolls it would be equal to and that is the amount you are paying per roll. Compare the cost per roll of each of the various packages to see if you are getting a good deal. They confuse us by saying 8 Mega rolls = 24 regular rolls or 8 Super Mega Rolls = 36 regular rolls, etc. (my roll amounts used as an example only). Sometimes I find the difference in cost per roll isn’t that much, so then I buy the largest rolls I can to save on storage issues. I will say it is very frustrating that I have to waste so much time figuring out the cost of toilet tissue, but I find it necessary being a senior on a fixed income and this is an item you use once and flush. I can definitely find better ways to spend my money and if another company ever comes out with a product that is as good or better, they will probably get my business simply because of the frustration over the games Charmin is playing with it’s consumers. We deserve better.

Answer:	My AAs bought in about July 2017 are stamped 12-2026. The AAs I bought in late 2015 or so are stamped 8-2025. The 9Vs I bought in early 2017 are stamped 8-2021. The AAAs I bought in early to mid 2017 are stamped 6-2027. The D cells I bought in December 2017 are stamped 10-2022. All are shrink wrapped so they can't make contact with other batteries or metal items in whatever drawer or box you store them in. I haven't had a dud yet and have used about 200 Amazon alkaline batteries.

Answer:	Bose qc uses AAA size not AA. Bose says alkaline battery last about 35 hours. 48 batteries will provide about 1600 hours of use but likely less if headphones are left on when not listening.

Answer:	The Amazon brand of alkaline battery meets expectations. I have used at least 50 in all major sizes over the past 2-3 years. None have leaked and only one has been DOA. Several Duracells have leaked on me and a couple of Dollar General brand alkalines have as well. The Amazon batteries are either cheaper or competitively priced therefore I have bought the 9 volts, AAs and AAAs in bulk and the Cs and Ds as I need them.
Question:	How do they compare to Duracell
Answer:	Perhaps with extremely heavy use, but not likely. I use mine for demonstrations almost monthly and the disks work fine. I did have to replace the gear due to the fact that the plastic broke, but I do move mine to varying locations, which could have been the cause of the break.

Answer:	Not sure. Have to ask the supplier if they would accept partially used containers back or they would handle that, if you bought some and if it did attract carpenter bees.

Answer:	It says 5000 square feet for the 32 oz size. I was able to spray my yard twice with it. My yard is about 20 feet by 50 feet plus a few other small areas. Worked great and smelled good too.

Answer:	I spray it over my herbs, and I have never noticed any reside. I have a bird feeder, and the birds always come right back, but the bugs don’t! I spray about every 2-3 weeks here in Houston.

Answer:	Yes. I keep a lantern on our porch and it froze into ice. (Doesn't turn into wax, it turns to ice). I brought lantern inside and let it melt and poured it back into jug. Just as well, kerosene is only $2.32 a gallon and doesn't freeze.

Answer:	Lamplight Ultra-Pure is 99% liquid paraffin. The Nermitzva.com website indicates this lamp oil is also liquid paraffin, and other websites indicate it is 99% pure paraffin.

Answer:	You can just use water, if you want to use it as a humidifier. This does not include the essential oils; you will have to buy those seperatly. It is worth buying the oils though.

Answer:	I think some people are getting confused as to the functions. Pushing once to green is intermittent mode. It diffuses 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off and runs for up to 6 hours. However, mine is still running after 8 hours. It auto shuts off when water is almost gone. Push twice to red or continuous mode and it runs continually for 3 hours then auto shuts off. I started mine at 1am in green intermittent mode and it’s 8:45 and still running. But no complaints here!

Answer:	You can turn off the color lights. But the function light especially the green is very bright if you are sensitive to light when you sleep this will be bothersum. I used black electrical tape to round the bottom of the lid to block out most the green light. It will do rather than returning to buy a more expensive item.
