Question:	I live in a uninsulated 2 car garage. Would this heater be powerful enough to warm a 40°F space through the night into the morning
Answer:	I suppose that would also mean you are warmly dressed or have plenty of covers if you are sleeping there and how tight the garage is. If you run it all the time at the highest power it will eventually heat the room to a point where you won't be freezing during the day, and at night for sleeping it will be plenty warm. I move mine wherever I need it as the parabolic mirror points the heat right at you. So if I move from the sofa to the big chair at the opposite side of the room I turn or even move the heater. The cord is long enough so that you can move it around without unplugging it every time you move it. Usually I do not want to heat the whole room which is very large, bigger than your garage, and I do not want to use the heat pump to attempt to do so. No portable heater will have more than 1500 BTUs, this one will put the heat where you want it unlike most which just heat the air right around it.
Question:	The caution light keeps coming on and the unit shuts off. What is going on and is there a recall on these
Answer:	I have the same problem with this heater also. It shuts down after just a few minutes on high and doesn't come back on until it cools down and then you have to manually turn in back on at the lower setting. I am not going to try and fix it but I will solve any future problems with this fan by not ever buying another one and I would not recommend this fan to anyone....It is very annoying!

Answer:	The top of the heater is approximately 33" from the floor at the minimum height setting.

Answer:	Every time you unplug the heater and then plug it in you will need to turn it on. (Sorry to hear James W Scott thinks this is a poorly made product...my wife and I have had 2 and we have not had a problem with either one.)

Answer:	Do have a GFI. If so the outlet is below standard and will not take the voltage being drawn from the heater. Do not use it without upgrading your breaker and outlet female plug. If your wire set up is not up to code you might have a fire hazard without replacing socket, wires and breaker.
