Answer:	Fan only uses 18650 lithium battery. Can't interchange with other batteries. However 18650 batteries last a very long time and a quite powerful. Those are the batteries used in vape devices.

Answer:	Open the fan. On the flat part the holds the fan upright there are 2 plastic screw like things. This piece is shaped like a U. Turn each with a screw driver to remove. Then pop off the top cover. The batteries are inserted inside. Replace the cover and plastic screw like pieces and tighten them.
