| Answer: | It really depends on what you mean by quiet. You can hear it on low speed but it is not annoying. As you increase the speed, the sound because more noticeable. I would say that it is just as quiet as a 20" bladed fan can be. It is the blades rotating in the air that make the sound. The only way to reduce the sound would be to decrease the blade's angle-of-attack or decrease the fan's rotation speed. Either one results in less air movement. Sound is air movement, therefore, more air movement (which is what fans do) equals more sound. I hope that this helps. |

BOOM. done, and it will work better/ be easier on the fans motor/ have more airflow |
