The "Elle" has the ripple sole which will give you more traction than other flat bottom boot. | Answer: | I don't wear socks with mine. I also have a pair of Uggs. The EMUs have a much better footbed - with arch support - than the Uggs so I was able to do a LOT of walking in the EMUs during a five day trip to DC in December. They were warm, provided support and looked great. Also, the leather is much more substantial and dirt can be brushed off easily. I ordered another pair in a different color after that trip. Uggs are great for a long trip in the car or going to and from the gym but I wouldn't wear them for walking when shopping, running errands or on a trip. |

Try the size 8 or order the size 7 as well and try them on. I bought a 9 too but it was too tight with the thick wool lining. I mean it’s thick. I have not tested it in rain because after weeks of it, it stopped. I still wear it on cold days and it keeps my feet warm to the point where wearing layers I start perspiring. I’m quite pleased with the boots - they’re better quality than UGGs in my opinion. |

These look very authentic to me, just be sure what you receive looks like what is pictured here. They are spectacular and can highly recommend! I will only buy Emu's now, love them much more than my Uggs (of which I have sold). Do be aware that all Emu's are produced in China but they only used Australian suede. Make sure if you are a half size to buy a size down, they should fit tight at first and the thick fur will mould to your feet within a week or two of use. You do want them snug, they will give with use. |
