Question:	If I plug it in to a switched outlet, will it restart at the same power/oscillation when the switch is turned back on
Answer:	That was a great question. Frankly I thought I knew the answer but was not 100% certain. I just took it to a switched outlet and tried it. The answer is -----NO it will not start back up. You will need to turn on from remote. It will start and the same level it was last on. However, it will not go back to oscillating, you will need to select oscillate if you want it to do that. I hope this helps. We have had ours for several months and continue to love it.

Answer:	You will absolutely get white noise, as it it very quiet, however, not silent. White noise would be a perfect description of the amount of nice coming from the fan on the upper settings. It has a filter on the air intake at the bottom that traps dust. I would not say that it completely removes the dust, however, it is leaps and bounds better than your typical store bought fan. The filter is also easy to clean.

Answer:	I have only been using the lower settings and find it's a nice, cool, light breeze. I would imagine the higher the settings the more breeze you will get. It's very comfortable and I don't feel like it's a "wind".

Answer:	While it uses 1500 watts in heat mode, it does spike a little when it first starts, up to over 2000. I have it in an outlet with other devices and it has not caused problems for me. Keep in mind, just putting it on it's own outlet, doesn't mean it isn't sharing a breaker with a bunch of other outlets. I bought this mainly for the heat and so far really like it, but I got refurb for half price and would not pay full price.

Answer:	My first reaction was no, because formaldehyde when it out-gases, is a gas not a particle. But I’m not a chemist so here’s what google says. “Fiber filters, even the best grade of HEPA filter, will not remove formaldehyde from the air – it is too small. The only available filter that will reduce formaldehyde levels is a carbon air filter. These use small carbon pellets that have molecule-sized holes, cracks, and crannies in them.” You might look at the Molecule filter, it has a UV light that destroys particles. 4x the price of a Dyson. I own both.
Question:	Will this cool your room like an ac or just blow same air in the room
Answer:	Does not refrigerate air. At best it will move cool air from one room to a room that’s hotter - which balances the air temperature. Air blowing over your skin will cause your skin’s molecules to slow down as a result of coming into contact with cool-er air and also helping sweat/moistuer from your skin evaporate causing the sensation of cooling. But it wouldn’t be as effective as an air conditioner which refrigerates as well as dehumidifies air which would blow air and have the same effect but at an accelerated rate due to the air being refrigerated.
