Answer:	No, but the compressor does stop running until the room temp warms up to the temp you set. Then compressor starts running again to cool the room. It will cycle this way indefinately and only turn off if you turn off the power, or the timer was set to turn off, or if there's a power outage.

Answer:	This air conditioner already comes with a clear plastic drain hose. If you buy this unit - when it arrives look for the clear bag that comes inside the box. This bag has the remote, batteries for the remote, instructions, and the clear plastic drain hose. You attach the hose on the top drain plug. When running the air conditioner it will drain a lot of water out of it. I stick a plastic bucket near it. The unit works well for my 12 x 12 master bedroom.

Answer:	The easy way is with 3m 2'' 'blue' painters' masking tape. Fold it over both sides-it holds tightly enough so you can slide the filter frame back in and is easily removed when you need to clean or replace the filter.

Answer:	Yes, I have done this in my work area and after 3 filters over ~2 years, I can tell you that they DEFINITELY do trap all kinds of nasty stuff that may be in the A/C air stream. How do I know? Because mine get all dark after about 6-8 months and have to be replaced. The air (ostensibly) only travels outward - so one would assume that it traps what was in the "clean" air output. I suspected mold ... that's why I got this (and others). They all work and they all got filthy over time - from the inside out. I figure or about 8 bucks, it's worth a try. I didn't not trust our older air ducts to be all that clear of mold. I mounted mine between the registers (removed them) and the actual wall duct, then re-installed the registers OVER the filters. Looks a bit ugly, but clean air matters more to me than looks. You can always trim around the edges.

Clean the window casement and window frame, then Stick the hook tape on the window casement (Green in picture), and then stick it on the window frame (Blue in picture).

2 Identify the right sides of the window seal .

3.Attach the window seal to the hook tape.

You can close the window to make sure that the window seal isn't clamped.

4. Insert the hose:

Open the zippers on the window seal. Place your air conditioner hose out of the window.Close the zippers tightly around the hose.

Stick The Adhesive Hook Tape

1. Clean the window casement and window frame

2. Stick the hook tape on the window casement (Green in picture), and then stick it on the window frame (Blue in picture).

Identify the right sides of the window seal

1.Curved part is Blue, the wide side of the window seal.

2.Straight part is Green, the narrow side of the window seal.

3.Red dots respetively indicate the middle of the window seal and the middle of the window casement.

Attach the window seal to the hook tape

1.Start from aligning the middle of window seal with the middle of window casement (Red Dots).

2.Attach wide side (Blue) to the window frame.

Insert the hose

1.Open the zippers on the window seal. Place your air conditioner hose out of the window.

2.Close the zippers tightly around the hose. Anti-skid zippers, no need to use cable tie to bind.
