If you have a fluffy comforter that you wrap around your mattress the 54" fits just right. If it's the 60" mattress and you do the same, it will hang over just a bit from the fluffiness of the comforter but again its personal preference if you like that look.

Answer:	My daughter has been using it a couple years now, we've moved it from room to room. It's sturdy. There are two wood pieces that sit under the mattress, on top of the drawers that are pretty thick and heavy. We love this bed.

Answer:	No box spring needed! But the twin mattress doesn't fit the frame as snug as you Would think it should being it's a childrens bed. I suppose a twin comforter tucked on the sides would make it a little more snug, perhaps?

Answer:	The slats are 4 and a half inches apart. They are prearranged and can't be altered.

Drawer Details

All drawers feature a European roller drawer glides with a positive stop. The inside measurement of each drawer is 15.75" D x 21 3/8" W x 4" T.

Headboard Details

The headboard includes two variable height shelves that can be placed in three different positions. Assembly is required.

Answer:	Haha yea it’s sturdy! mine has lasted this long but I pushed it against the wall (headboard side) to reduce movement. I also avoid doin adult activities horizontally on it because it does move a lot that way. Those wood slats are pretty strong for what goes on. So, squeaking isn’t a problem this far and I have not cracked it.

Question:	What is the weight limit for this bed
Answer:	I don't know for sure but I know my husband weighs 210 and he has sat on the bed with my daughter who probably weighs 50 lbs. The bed is pretty solid so I would guess at least 250lbs, probably more.

Question:	Could this bed accommodate a white toddler bed rail under one side
Answer:	I don't see why it shouldn't. Although it sits really low you may not even need the rail at all.
Question:	Can someone who has had this a while please let me know how it has held up slats and upholstery please
Answer:	I purchased this bed for my 38 pound son in August. The slats broke in September. It is not sturdy. The way you have to assemble the bed isn’t sturdy at all.
Question:	When wood breaks what can I replace with the hold mattress
Answer:	Contact shipper or go to Home Depot to get replacement slats.
Question:	So the wood frame that holds the bed up has broken, several slats now, making bed unusable. Is there a way to get replacement wood
Answer:	I would definitely contact the manufacturer if possible to send replacement wood for free or visit Home Depot or Lowe’s they will definitely have planks of wood
