Question:	Does the chair rock/lean back, or only recline
Answer:	The chair seat does not lean back, only the back of the chair reclines. I would have liked the chair better if the seat itself also reclined back.
Question:	What is the distance between the arm rests, or can they be removed? I have very wide hips & this is a problem on most chairs for me
Answer:	The arms do not just come off and on as a design, they have to be removed with the same screws that they were attached. The armrest comes off and isn't attached to another feature so it ruins nothing in the removal. So yes, you can build it without the arms. As for how wide it is, between the posts of the armrest is about 59cm or 23.25 inches, between the armrest is 53cm or 21 inches
Question:	Does the whole chair tilt back or just the back
Answer:	Both, the back reclines and there is a tilt function to move the back to set recline positions. Beware though the chair is really short. I’m 6’4 and my knees are higher than my waist when seated. Not made for tall people unless you like low riding.

Answer:	Spouse is over 6 ft tall, and he looks like a clown sitting in a child's chair. It's not a very big chair at all. The max weight capacity is 300 LBS, but honestly I'm half of that and after owning the chair just a few weeks it's already falling apart. Avoid it!

Answer:	That smell is not just from flame retardant. That smell comes from just about everything man made such as: the foam cushion, artificial leather, laminates, carpets and so on and so forth. The reason some new products do not have the smell is because the manufacturer has the good sense to let that thing air out in the factory for a few days before shipping it to retailers that immediately ship it to customers.

Answer:	It seems to be 100% inorganic, non-free range, vegan. Although no animals were harmed in the production of the chair, I suspect many will die from the pollution caused by creating a chair, very comfortable indeed, out of non-organic products.

Answer:	My son used his for a year. He's about 260, a heavy guy. The weld broke on the bottom seat at the front. I wrote to the company and they sent a new chair free of charge. Then, two months later. They sent me THREE MORE CHAIRS. I could not believe it. True story.

Answer:	I just purchased this chair... to answer your question correctly and to help others... at the lowest seat setting... the seat measures 20.5" at the top of the cushion... I'm 5-10/11" around 280lbs. I generally like to sit lower but its not bad. Probably just right for someone 6ft. and have their legs at a 90 degree angle I assume. Hope that helps.
