Answer:	Yes, I used heavy tape after enclosing mattress in bag and sealed ends of bag together leaving a small section to insert vacuum hose. Next I folded the bag at the top onto the mattress to make it snug and then inserted vacuum tube and started extracting air. It went faster than I imagined. As the air was beginning to be expelled, I started rolling the mattress into a roll. When I felt it was done I put straps around the mattress in three places and used them to help lift and move the rolled mattress. Mine was a foam mattress. It wasn’t hard I did this by myself and it was queen size. I am 5’2”, a helper would have been good while rolling up the mattress, but I did a great job.

You know those cheap clear bags they use for small office trash cans? Those are 1.5 mil and painter's plastic (very flimsy) is usually 1 to 2 mil.

Answer:	I purchased the twin size, and both the mattress and box spring easily fit into that bag. I would presume the king bag would fit a standard king mattress.

Answer:	The bag is resealable and won't rip when opening the closure, however it won't be quite as sticky when resealing a 2nd time. You will want to use clear packing tape to reinforce the seal if you reuse it.

Answer:	No. They are basically just big thick plastic bags. You could duct tape them shut but no zipper. I would recommend the zipper ones if you could find them my friend bought one of those and it fits his bed nicely and doesn't make noise.

Answer:	While any plastic can tear I think this plenty heavy to with stand a move. I was impressed with the thickness as was my movers. This is my best answer as my belongings are still in storage.
