Answer:	For 400 sq ft 12"OC you need 882 clips. Since this deck is 448 sq. ft. I would recommend purchasing another 100 clips (this package has 900 clips) to allow yourself some room for error. Hope this helps!

Answer:	This kit does not. Four starters would only allow a 4 foot wide deck (composite boards require 16” joists). I used metal clips from another vendor on mine next to the house and screwed directly into the edge when I got to the other side.

Answer:	They are designed for self tapping wood, but I think they would probably self tap aluminum as long as you drill pilot holes first.

Answer:	Locate the correct driver for your screw gun or screw driver and turn in a counterclockwise manner to remove the screw. You would need to remove them on both sides for maybe 2 or 3 boards wide so you can pull the board up to remove the fastner. Put them back in the same way.

Question:	Are the concealoc screws stainless steel
Answer:	I don't know if the manufacturer has a different product option with 1" screws, but I used this product and purchased shorter screws to use on part of my deck. It worked fine, but it's can extra cost. Keep in mind that the clip provides about a 3/8" gap between the clip hole and the board you are screwing into. So, a 1" screw would have only 5/8" of the screw into the board. Overall the system worked very well for me. The deck boards are well secured.

Answer:	This tool is no longer in production. The Marksman tools come either with a 3/16" spacer on both sides (Marksman Pro and Marksman Pro-NB), or a 1/16" spacer on both sides (Marksman Pro-X1).

Answer:	The side of the plank that butts to a wall needs pilot holes strait in, use the tool to start all of the screws on the planks outside edge, then back them out. set the plank, adjust the spacing and screw the screws closest to the wall first, then screw in the screws in on the outside edge of the plank. Note If you already knew you were going to butt to a wall, you should have planned to start from the wall and go out where it is easier to finish.
