Answer:	The cushion would fit across the back of a wheelchair, but it is very firm. It is not contoured for use against a person's back and I do not think it would be at all comfortable.

Answer:	My 90 year old Father thought the cushion was perfect, until he had to get from his bed into the wheelchair and we realized the cushion made his wheelchair seat too high for him to slide onto it from his standard height bed. Perhaps an adjustable height bed would have eliminated that issue. However, the snap on strap made removing the cushion and reattaching it easy, and I was pleased it could be adjusted tightly enough for him to slide off easily, but unfortunately he just couldn't get back up onto his chair with this cushion attached. If your Mother can stand up, or if she has an adjustable height bed it might be okay, but since she's only 4'11" I'd be concerned the added height of the cushion would make her seat a bit high for her too. It was the most comfortable and certainly the most secure of all the cushions I purchased for him so if you can make this work for her it's worth every penny!

Answer:	it adjusts the lumbar support adjustment. If you buy the rubber wheels sold on Amazon, it will be so smooth & quiet, no one will know you are working in the office.

Answer:	The Amazon web page used to say 400 lbs. (or 171.3 kg) but it looks like they have adjusted it since I posted my review. The instructions that came with the chair read 158.76 kg (pg.17). If you weigh more than 158 kg (350 lbs), I wouldn't recommend using it.
