Answer:	You will want to use staked. The wind will just carry it away. I didn't like this model. Lasted one season and it tore. It was hard to set up too. I converted to the Coleman dome 12X12.
Question:	how does it hold up in heavy wind
Answer:	I have had my original Coleman 13x13 for at least 6 years, and had it up in approximately 30 mph winds. I had staked it well, and it held up fine! I am convinced the canopy vent keeps it from flying away in the wind. I am purchasing my second canopy to cover the other half of my patio for a BBQ party.
Question:	Does this canopy hold up well at the beach? We will be on an island and the windy is very gusty at times
Answer:	Had it in use on a Florida beach for several years with no issues. Bury each leg in the sand one foot deep (lower sure, but still very comfortable) and then I drilled each leg another foot up each leg and added a sandbag that my wife made if needed - just weren’t very often. Awesome tent, heavy, but if you want it to stand up to wind that’s what it takes.

Answer:	Yes, in a side by side comparison, this canopy feels cooler. Also like others have said, it allows wind to go through it instead of taking off like a sail. Another great feature is that we have camped in the rain and were able to place the canopy over a fire pit (with a modest fire) and stay warm and dry while the smoke was able to escape through the vent

Answer:	Hello, I was able to find regular khaki colored tarps and purchased zip ties and have received a number of positive compliments . I utilize my 12x12 enclosure for a workout room during these difficult times. I attached the 12x12 tarps to the inside of the canopy. I wired shop lamps with a surge protector and even a oil lamp with cement board for flooring. My wife even uses it after negative initial comments. I’m a Genius! Bowflex and row machine and bench.

Answer:	Follow the set up tips and windy day video on our corporate website, and you’ll be smiling while watching umbrellas flop around. It’s all about a couple keys to keep the tent as taut as possible: fill the corner anchor bags until they are really heavy (at least the size of a volleyball). Pull the bags far apart, and bury or brace them so they don’t slide when putting up the poles. Put up the poles on the side of the tent that the wind is coming from. Additional tips on the site.
Question:	Does anybody think this will work on a ford E350 extended van? Im worried that the wheel wells are too far away for the straps to reach
Answer:	I wouldn’t see why not. The ends of the tethers have bags on them to put the sand in but I think you could still pull it off by tying it to your Jeep. Honestly, it would probably work better cause it’s so windy right off the beach that it was knocking the poles down half of the time.

Question:	How is this in moderate wind? I've had damage occur with free standing tents scrapping vehicles. Also, are poles included? Thanks
Answer:	I am not familiar with your trailer, I use mine on the back of my Pinecone pod trailer and it works great. There is plenty of covered space behind the trailer. I use bungee cords to attach to each side of the trailer.
Question:	Will this fit a 2018 Toyota tundra
Answer:	ABSOLUTELY - this was the best buy I made for our trip. it comes with ropes (para-cord) + suction cups to secure it, the ropes have little plastic hooks that allow you to 'secure' it to something like under side of vehicle, roof rack, mirrors - something on your vehicle without damage. You should however invest in weight bags (that you fill with rocks, water or sand/dirt) to hold/tie-down to the front legs so the wind doesn't grab it & blow it away. I am delighted with it - well worth the money for a huge portable awning. we easily shaded our whole picnic table with all 6 of us under it and immediately around it. You may need two people to open/close the doors (someone to lift it up to allow door to FULLY open/close) but you could find a higher point to secure that would allow it without 2 people. It is a very flexible system it really is.
Question:	Are there other colors available
Answer:	It won't work for that van - not because of the wheel wells (you could always attach extra cord to extend it) but because it has to have a hatch door to keep the awning up. If your van has the two doors in back which open horizontally this item will not work.
Question:	Does this have to be attached to the vehicle to work or can it stand alone like a lean to
Answer:	Yes, it is very easy to set up.

Answer:	I've used it several times on the beach and it has never failed me ... it moves with the compass of the wind but the tensors try to keep it in place ...

Answer:	I'm not sure. If it's a pickup I think you'll need more height.

Answer:	They had blue and grey when I ordered mine.

Answer:	You can place one side of the King Camp on the ground and stake it secure and have the opposite side attached to the legs. This set up works very well to provide a huge amount of shade.
