Answer:	I was worried about this as well, before I purchased. I did find some videos of people doing it - looks like it involves a bit of skill and patience, but not too bad (id est, no soldering?) - looks like it's not as easy as buying an android (or older iphone) battery that you just click in and out, but it's not as stupidly-annoyingly-hard as DIY on a newer iphone. sourcing the battery may be the hardest part - finding the right size/shape/capacity/voltage, and needs to have the right cable+connector on it (or I guess could always cut the connector off the old/dead battery and splice it)

Answer:	To pull the whole thing out and carry it in? You could do it but it might be a little awkward to carry in. It does hold things well and you could get grocery bags in it although only as many bags as it has compartments. The compartments are only big enough to hold one reusable grocery bag but you could probably get a few plastic grocery bags into each compartment.

Answer:	NOT ZIPPERED!!!! It is a Flap That Velcro’s!! Personally we use a square cooler that fits in there snug for items that you would need to stay cold! Even though it has a flap, REALLY does come in handy on scalding summer heat getting ice cream, popsicles, eggs & other dairy products from point A to point B that would be a complete mess by the time you arrived home
