Answer:	I use it a part of my regiment for hair loss. I've been using it for 3 years. The active ingredient Ketoconazole (1%) works to suppress the androgen receptor which is part of the process of testosterone conversion to DHT and its destructive action on hair follicles. DHT binds to the receptors of hair follicles 5 times more than testosterone. It is thought that an abundance of DHT attached to hair follicle receptors can trigger the follicles to miniaturize, leading to hair loss. Initially developed as a dandruff, psoriasis and Seborroheic Dermatitis treatment, it has been an effective solution to stopping DHT. It isn’t a miracle cure for hair loss. Answer:	I would definitely try to stay focus on shampooing your roots as best as you can. I have locs and my roots are regular and my ends are dry. I used the shampoo from roots to tips and my hair felt balanced. My roots were not oily and my tips felts soft and moisturized. I have 4c hair and locs, so everyone is different. But I did like the way my hair felt! I use it once a month so I don’t overload on the protein, that can cause damage.

You do those steps you most definitely will see and feel a difference in your hair💕

Answer:	In my opinion, it helps to effectively cleanse the scalp. If a dirty scalp is the cause of the itching, then yes. My advice would be to find the underlying cause of the itching. If the itching is from dry scalp, I strongly suggest using Design Essentials Moisturizing shampoo after the Cleansing shampoo. Lastly, the Moisturizing conditioner should be used last. Using the last 2 after the Cleansing shampoo applies moisture back 2 ur scalp. I try to stick with natural oils for daily scalp usage in between washing to keep my scalp moisturized. I've had less itching. I use Jojoba oil, Argan oil, Sweet Almond oil, Avocado oil, Grapeseed oil as carrier oils &Rosemary, Bergamot, & Ylang Ylang for essential oils.I'm not consistent; I still have to experiment a little more, but I really like the avocado & bergamot.Listen to your scalp & hair if it really likes something. I'm not a product junky & simply like a healthy scalp & hair. I stand by Design Essentials shampoo/conditioner. No leave in conditioners though. If u have any questions, feel free 2 ask.

Once I FINALLY got it opened I was please with the scent and performance of the shampoo. It really needs to be easier to open though.

Answer:	It took maybe two weeks for my daughter showering every couple of days. You do have to leave it in for a couple of minutes each time. Hope it works for you soon.

Question:	Can i use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner after
Answer:	I would use a moisturizing conditioner right after shampooing but I would not re-shampoo with another product immediately after shampooing with this product. The product will work best if you shampoo only with it and not another product to follow- allowing time for it to work (by not “washing” it out with another product). You can use this two or three times a week if you find it drying or harsh.
Question:	Someone said the Original formula doesn't work to relieve bumps on head, but how about this extra strength one
Answer:	It truly depends on what condition your scalp is in. I get bumps and they itch to become scaley. I found that the original with both shampoo and conditioner combined worked much quicker and relieved the itch. Patches of hair that I lost are growing back. Even with an expensive conditioner, this was rough on what hair I had. Hope that helps

Answer:	Just use it on your scalp and rinse the rest, then use a good conditioner for hydration in all your hair. I have dry curly hair and that's what I do and it works very well for me. Also you can do a deep conditioner once a week a leave it for a few minutes.

Answer:	I don’t believe mine came with a seal either, I don’t believe it is supposed to. I’ve never seen a shampoo product come with a seal, store or online.

Answer:	Considering the ingredients in the shampoo (tea tree oil, aloe vera, and allantoin) I am sure it's okay for long term use unless there is some really strange skin disease or something. Allantoin is used in many cosmetics and skin care products, aloe vera is used to heal burns and skin eruptions, tea tree oil gets rid of fungus. The animals don't like the smell of the tea tree oil but it won't hurt them.

Answer:	Absolutely, it’s great for cats too. In fact these were first marketed as a pet comb for twice the price. The silicone grabs the hair being shed so you can easily remove it in one piece. My daughter’s cat loves it so I bought one for my brothers cat and they both love it. My dog likes it too.
Question:	Does this work on dreadlocks
Answer:	I've never had that problem but I do detangle my hair before I use it. I don't use it like a comb or anything like that. I put it on my scalp and gently move in circular motions for a few seconds and I pick it up to move to a new spot and repeat. If you drag it across your whole scalp, my reasoning would say, yes, you will tangle your hair for sure.
